About Them: Mewtwo was born and raised in a lab her entire life, used in horrific experiments until she used her powers to blow up the lab and escape. She's extremely distrustful of humans, thinking that they will try to hurt or capture her given the opportunity. Though she will still save those who seem to be in trouble. She's very socially awkward, only having interacted with scientists all her life.
Notable CR: None at the moment. She tends to keep away from people when she can.
Current Plans: Nothing much, aside from her looking for the Kabutops that came in through the Door. I would like to put her in more situations that involve her having to put trust into someone else though.

About Them: A tiny ball of anger, cynicism and activity who needs pink hair dye to Live (okay not really but she sure does look better with it). That Person who has to have her nose involved in everything, runs the clinic (for the time being), usually found fighting something when Hadriel's under attack, oh, and can see your powers thanks to her magical glowing eyes. Just before the move to the ocean planet, she found The Door and has been trying to learn more with Alphys, but then Name came along and made their plans massively speed up.

Notable CR: Glacius, Carlisle, Ignis, Jo, Henry, Curufin, Lup, Cecily...
If you work at the clinic, help out the guard or spend a lot of time at the speakeasy, you've probably met her. And if you live in Love's Housing, you might have a neighbour in her. I'm totally up for handwaving any first meetings if it makes things easier!

Current Plans: Kate is currently trying to organise some sort of force to learn more about The Door, since she would much rather the people of Hadriel have the leverage of Door parts over the gods or the Null.

About Them: The sweetest girl you will ever meet. Patient, friendly, and the kind of person who would rather make friends than enemies. A historian and teacher at heart, she's also more than handy with a bow, a sword, and her magic.

Notable CR: Her sister, Lightning, recently turned up, and after years of being separated by fate, she's very glad to see her. But she's also roommates with Rita DuClark, gets on well with Noctis and Julie, as well as Curufin, and honestly likes everyone who isn't Caedra so far.

Current Plans: Not much! She's on team #SaveName and very interested in Hadriel's history and slowly talking to the gods to find out more and try and understand them. I'd love to get her talking to more people with Opinions on Name and the Gods though.

About Them: Gayest grump with a heart of gold and a terrible temper. A disaster concoction of fabricated memories belonging to different women who were soldiers and/or assassins because of that robot brain. Lots of PTSD and identity issues, full speed ahead.

Has a lot of intentionally-inflicted scars on her face. Also the ability to not-so-spontaneously combust herself and things around her and manipulate heat; makes for a very good personal sauna if you can keep her still long enough.

Runs the Speakeasy and welcome dance nights for the newbies on the intro logs. Here is the most current one that takes place in the 12th, so don't feel shy about tagging into it or around.

Notable CR: Lives with her BFF dadbot Nick Valentine. And Oscar is her unclebot twice removed or something. Friends with Rosie, Atem, Alphys, Trafalgar Law, Aren Brosca, Laura Palmer, and Carlisle Longinmouth. She has been super wary of Caedra Nisariel but is more or less going with the flow as far as interacting with her is concerned. It's complicated. Rey is still technically part of the Guard in a near-unofficial capacity, so some of them might know of her.
Also has a mutant cat named Tripod and he is the most noble boy you will ever meet.

Current Plans: If the plot wills it, she will most likely be accompanying Caedra and Law on the boat ride to locate the Door's fragments, since she's invited and doesn't really have a choice in the matter. She's not too big on controlling the Door but she'd rather make sure it doesn't end up under the thumb of worse folks. Secretly Rey has been entrusted by Sorrow with the last godkiller, which no one but Nick is aware, but it does help put Rey into that mentality of being on "even footing" with the gods that others lack.

CR you're looking for: Soldier types. She's softened up a little towards synthetics but is still rather uncomfortable around them, and is very harsh on Name. Always accepting volunteers at the Speakeasy and Game Room, including maintenance, brewing/distilling, music, and setting up dance nights. I'm pretty damn open to anyone who thinks she might gel well with, negative or positive! Rey has been around for over two and a half years (wow, time flies!) and so that makes her a very good source of information for those who want to know about past events.

Ravine.

About Them: Grim reaper lady who is way too chill for her own good. Is also 6'8" and wears sunglasses at night.

Ravine is a Psychopomp who, in her world, is tasked with guiding dead souls when they die in order to prevent them from becoming attached to the living world and turning into harmful spirits. She also is a telepath with a sense for predicting probabilities, but her predictions are more of "possible outcomes" than anything that is set in stone. She's over 3000+ years old, from ancient Jerusalem/Neo Babylon. Seen a lot of shit because she comes from a point in canon where the world in the distant future has suffered a catastrophic pandemic that nearly wiped out all human life. But that's okay, because she'll still listen to your problems and have no judgement about how terrible of a person you might be... mostly. :)

Huge emphasis on her permissions post for people who interact with her in any deep capacity due to the invasive nature of her abilities, even though she won't take advantage of it unless she finds reason to (in other words: I will try not to infomod without player permission and will ask ahead of time before she pulls anything extreme. If anything comes up that you're not comfortable with her knowing/talking about to your character, please hit me up).

I would also like to add that, given she is a reaper, Ravine has a special connection to the dead. While this doesn't mean much in Hadriel, if your character dies then it's an option that she can interact with dead characters for the brief period before their bodies disappear via Hope. They most likely won't remember this experience, however, otherwise they'd remember being ghosts hovering over their bodies all the time!

Notable CR: Still BFFs with Friendship Pharaoh Atem and has befriended Alphys and kinda Nick Valentine. Has been antagonizing Caedra Nisariel in that she is probably the only person Ravine has ever made use of her reaper abilities against. She is also working on trying to help Carlisle Longinmouth's terminal condition.

Current Plans: Still debating whether or not Ravine would participate in the plot to locate the Door fragments. Technically she should be able to, given her abilities to teleport and not having to breathe, but I wouldn't want her to go it alone and I'm not sure who she would sail with. She did attempt to teleport to the Door but got thrown right back out. Rude.

She has foiled Caedra's plans a few times in the past, once when Ravine had made contact with the host's souls and intervened Caedra and Semiyon's attempt to torture one of them for information. Second time was when Caedra attempted to murder Avisheh at the Bacchanalia, but not before she killed the host. For the most part Ravine has every intention of getting in Caedra's way whenever possible.

Also she is aiding in treating Carlisle's condition, which will likely have some lasting side effects on her part (I mostly just intend her to need sleep rather than be immune to fatigue). That's probably happening within the next month or so.

CR you're looking for: Spirit/ghost types, always. Characters who are either dead, know that they are dead/will die in canon, or have different canon timelines and/or outcomes (see her permissions post for more detail on that). Dream walkers, psychics, or anyone drawn to those types.

About Them: Jill is one of the protagonists of a zombie survival horror game (you may have heard of it! XD). She is strong, capable, confident, and totally kickass. She started out her career training with the military and moved into a Special Tactics and Rescue Service squad. After some crazy mansion incident, Jill moved on to become one of the founding members a worldwide organization called the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, under the direction of the United Nations. She's a seasoned field agent and leader. Under all of that, she's a caring woman who will fight to protect others. Jill is generally easy to get along with and also has a light sense of humor.
Notable CR: Jill was in Hadriel previously, so some may still remember her time in the game! But since her reapp is taken from a canon point before her previous app, she will need to get to know everyone again. <3
Current Plans: Right now she's just getting acclimated. No current plans on the agenda except meeting new/old people.

About Them: Jade is a soldier from a place with magical wiggly particles known as fonons that comprise the elements of his world. Incidentally, he is a fonist, or basically a spellcaster, and he’s scary good at what he does. As if that wasn’t enough, he can summon a spear from APPARENTLY NOWHERE, ok. And…also Jade is a sarcastic, dry humored kind of guy so he’s bound to piss someone off more than once. Whoops!

Notable CR: No one so far, though he has had conversations with some people. Since I’m fairly slow and he’s new, it’ll take a while to jump into some proper CR, I’m afraid. ;v;

Current Plans: Jade’s currently acclimating himself to the geography of the place, and trying to keep himself busy with learning as much about Hadriel as he can without asking around too much since he got here. [Name], the Null, the Gods, and the Door are all pretty high on his priorities to get involved with, so he’ll be actually asking around about those things soon, especially given what [Name] has told them.


CR you're looking for: I plan to have him get involved with the lab, in order to keep his sizeable intellect occupied of course. =P Jade’s not very proud of what he’s done in the name of science but it doesn’t mean that scientific study and theorizing isn’t a part of who he is. And hey, here he can’t make bad decisions, nor does anyone have any idea about his lovely nickname and all the shitty things he’s done. So yeah, if you have a character that’s smart and wouldn’t mind bouncing theories off him, STEP UP PLS!!

I really want him to create bonds with people, but he’s a prickly guy even endgame, so please be patient with me as he…uh. Likely insults your character. If you’re into that, or you think his smarmy nature won’t be a total turnoff, then please, give me all the CR. If it’s in any way helpful, Jade being a soldier means he’s likely to put himself into the thick of any fights that might occur, and that he will protect civilians, for what it’s worth!

About Them: Appearance stuff is here but in brief she's short and has pitch-black eyes. Caedra is of the tanar'ri race of demons, meaning what she loves most is to throw everything into violent chaos. She's quick to anger and quick to act on it, has killed several people in Hadriel and will certainly kill more. She's a compulsive liar and is incapable of empathy. HOWEVER. She's fun! She does like people, even if she hates being trapped here with them, and will usually tease, flirt, deride, and taunt people before trying to take them apart. She's learning about consequences and why sometimes patience can be valuable.

Notable CR: Semiyon is her mob boss buddy, Law is her boytoy and she cares about both a little more than she'll easily let on. Is worshiped as a goddess by Floki. Often hangs out with and torments Rey or others who might frequent the Speakeasy. Finds most of her murder victims (Charles, Rita, Margaery, Ianchus) varying shades of annoying depending on how seriously they took the whole thing, Rita being the least annoying and Margaery certainly the most. Hates Curufin intensely and is genuinely afraid of Ravine. A CR chart is here and I need to update it.
Current Plans: Caedra wants out of this place so bad and invited herself onto Law's crew before there was a crew. She's eager to get this Door reassembled and under her control, if she can manage it, but she'll settle for anything that gets her home. She finds organization hard and so the fight club thing still hasn't gotten off the ground, but it could potentially reappear. Beyond that, she doesn't really plan ahead much and I'm happy to go with the flow.
CR you're looking for: Aside from the usual 'everything', man, she has a surprising number of people who either like her or tolerate her and that's wild. Let's get some antipathy going on in here, she's a demon after all! But yes I welcome all CR, positive or negative.

About Them:

Atem is the ancient spirit of a teen Pharaoh who died over 3 000 years ago. He got himself sealed in an ancient Item in order to stop the Darkness from taking over the world, losing his memories in the process. In modern times he got released by a cute little boy named Yugi, he got to share a body with him, won some duels and tournaments and eventually fought (read: played trading card games) for the fate of the world again. He won with a little help from his friends, got his memories back, and tried to finally move to the afterlife. That did not happen, he got stuck in Hadriel instead. He might or not be a little bitter about that.

Atem is going to be learning glyphcrafting from Carlisle in order to protect his friends' souls from Caedra while they are away retrieving the ninth god. That's pretty much what I have planned for him in a long term, which means he will be able to do some pretty cool things later on!

About Them: Determined, adaptable, empathetic, and decisive, Connor makes for a good detective where he works at the Detroit Police Department. Unfortunately, all of those things also make him kind of a terrible android, as androids are absolutely not supposed to make their own choices or feel emotions; in fact, Connor was specifically made to hunt down those who do, which are called 'deviants.'

So denial's been the name of the game for awhile, although just recently (as in an hour or so before arriving in Hadriel) Connor officially flipped sides, turning to help the deviants in their fight against humans. The short version of what this means is that he's extremely confused; emotions are very, very new, there are too many, they're hard to sort out, and a lot of him really wishes he could just go back to being a good android. He's very much still figuring out his sense of self, but already has a much stronger personality than he really realizes just yet.

Also he likes dogs.

Notable CR: No one yet! He's new, though he'll probably be joining the Guard and he's been having some interesting conversations so far.

Current Plans: Right now he's settling in, trying to get an idea of how the social structure of Hadriel works, attempting to sort out feeling emotions and being his own person, and also pretending to be human. We'll see how long that can last.

About Them: Lance is a psychologist/criminal profiler/FBI agent because he's an overachiever and doesn't know when to say no. He's friendly, a little dorky, and genuinely wants to help people, but at the same time he's also guarded, distrusting, and slow to actually bond with people. Despite liking to appear as though he's very composed and has had a very normal life, he's been through a lot and sometimes can't quite keep the act up, although he's been doing a lot better later and this will probably translate into even more sass.

Notable CR: Lance knows like the whole city at this point so I'm not even going to list because I always forget people.

Current Plans: Mostly Lance is busy facepalming at Name posting to the network, but otherwise he's just been keeping a low profile partially because he's been busy helping hide said Null. He's going to be onboard with attempts to find the Door pieces though, even if he'll probably avoid any of the actual diving. He's also quietly getting better and better at magic.

CR you're looking for: He has almost no negative CR at the moment which is weird for him, so I'm always up for that, but I'm also good with CR that's friendly or complicated or otherwise!
