About Them: Determined, adaptable, empathetic, and decisive, Connor makes for a good detective where he works at the Detroit Police Department. Unfortunately, all of those things also make him kind of a terrible android, as androids are absolutely not supposed to make their own choices or feel emotions; in fact, Connor was specifically made to hunt down those who do, which are called 'deviants.'

So denial's been the name of the game for awhile, although just recently (as in an hour or so before arriving in Hadriel) Connor officially flipped sides, turning to help the deviants in their fight against humans. The short version of what this means is that he's extremely confused; emotions are very, very new, there are too many, they're hard to sort out, and a lot of him really wishes he could just go back to being a good android. He's very much still figuring out his sense of self, but already has a much stronger personality than he really realizes just yet.

Also he likes dogs.

Notable CR: No one yet! He's new, though he'll probably be joining the Guard and he's been having some interesting conversations so far.

Current Plans: Right now he's settling in, trying to get an idea of how the social structure of Hadriel works, attempting to sort out feeling emotions and being his own person, and also pretending to be human. We'll see how long that can last.

I would def like to continue this cr yes. Connor is good and sweet and Tucker is going to be a bad influence on him for sure.

Yes good please be a terrible influence; he's particularly influencable at the moment due to the whole 'just accepting he's a person' thing so it won't be too hard.

I just want to point out that I'm super delighted with Nick and Connor already, and leave this here while I'm at it. Also, let's please have Carlisle run into Connor at some point because s t e a l t h c o n s t r u c t.

About Them: Lance is a psychologist/criminal profiler/FBI agent because he's an overachiever and doesn't know when to say no. He's friendly, a little dorky, and genuinely wants to help people, but at the same time he's also guarded, distrusting, and slow to actually bond with people. Despite liking to appear as though he's very composed and has had a very normal life, he's been through a lot and sometimes can't quite keep the act up, although he's been doing a lot better later and this will probably translate into even more sass.

Notable CR: Lance knows like the whole city at this point so I'm not even going to list because I always forget people.

Current Plans: Mostly Lance is busy facepalming at Name posting to the network, but otherwise he's just been keeping a low profile ~~partially because he's been busy helping hide said Null.~~ He's going to be onboard with attempts to find the Door pieces though, even if he'll probably avoid any of the actual diving. He's also quietly getting better and better at magic.

CR you're looking for: He has almost no negative CR at the moment which is weird for him, so I'm always up for that, but I'm also good with CR that's friendly or complicated or otherwise!

I wanna say Rita can be his negative CR, but he'd shrink his way to her daddy issues and have her yelling at him in denial and probably coming back to tell him he's wrong, at which point the cycle would repeat itself.

This is true and he would totally do it too, especially since he's pretty out of fucks for nonsense at the moment.

That said I'm not at all against this idea.

I'm still reeling that Hayden and Lance haven't talked yet. I need to come up with some excuse for Hayden to message him and just shout nonsense. Since, like, that's what his specialty is.

Oh man ME TOO maybe for the event stuff going on later this month? Especially if there's like a mingle log for expeditions or planning for expeditions or something, they could just run into each other somehow? I'M SURE WE CAN FIGURE SOMETHING OUT

Omg yes this is long overdue. Lance is going to be an arrogant jerk about it too; it isn't just gonna be calling him dignified, it's gonna be a whole spiel delivered with the utmost sincerity and he's going to be smug for days.
