Additional Info: I'm in EST but I keep weird hours so that doesn't always matter. I have a part-time job but it usually doesn't keep me from tagging; my grad school work is a different story. I'm often unavailable on Thursdays and Sundays. I try to keep a decent pace, hitting back my inbox once a day if not more, and sometimes I'll boomerang stuff.

About Them:

Michael is a socially awkward former autopsy technician from a modern Earth where magic is secretly a thing. Except he doesn't know that? Or, well, he's starting to figure it out, but we'll get to that later. The basic gist of his troublesome situation is that magic in his world, for those born with the power to use it innately, works on a system of belief. If you think it's true/that you can do it, there you go. Unfortunately for Michael he thought he was possessed by a monster that eats murderers, so... there he goes! He hasn't yet realized the monster is just a magical construct of his own making, but he at least knows he's capable of using magic himself, so it's a start.

Michael himself is a pretty average-looking human, half-Filipino with glasses and messy hair. He wears stupid nonsensical t-shirts he finds around Hadriel, will eat whatever you give him, and is really bad at talking to people. He works at the clinic and also the lab.

I have a handy-dandy info page including everything you might want to know, with links to both his permissions post (please read!) and a rundown of the monster situation (that might need updating soon Idk).

Notable CR: God, okay, I always feel bad bc I leave people out of these. Anyway: Harlan (his bf and magic tutor), Delmar, Hayden, Law, Lance, Nate, Carlisle, etc, etc I am typing this on limited time SORRY. Notable, I suppose, is that the monster's current target is Leo.

Current Plans: NOTHING REALLY I just came back from a hiatus last month so I'm still gettin back into the swing of the game.

CR you're looking for: I hate to give this answer but I'm down for anything! People to talk gross dead body stuff, make stupid puns, make fun of his dumb shirts, etc. There's currently a wait for the monster murder queue, since he keeps! meeting! murderers! so if that's your fancy it might be a while. You could still talk murder with him if you for some reason want to, though? Could be interesting BASICALLY just toss people at me I'm hype.

Now that Carlisle is just about deadish, I need to throw him at Michael again at some point so they can catch up.

Alright, so I am a terrible person to my character, but let me know if this idea sparks your fancy at all. Since he's the monster's current target, at some point in the future, I'd love for the two of them to get into it in a fight. Leo has yet to shift into his true form for any reason and I'd love to seem him pushed to it since he'd generally only shift if he thought he was in danger of dying and holy smokes, that thing is strong and terrifying. We could hash out if that ends in a draw, mutual kill, whatevs, but just an idea I've been mulling over.

Hmmmmmmm HMMMMMMM this is a very interesting proposal. Michael's been trying to figure out a method to control his monster so that he doesn't end up killing anyone else, but he hasn't landed on anything yet, and regardless, being in close proximity to Leo might throw all that out the window anyway.

That said, he has sort of asked Harlan to help stop him. So Harlan might end up involved? I'll get with mipps about it.

But I am def interested in playing with this! However it ends, I think at some point they might have to figure out how to coexist, since they can't really die.

About Them:

Tucker is a former thief and smuggler who currently runs an adventuring guild with his pals Kyna and Harlan. He's from a modern D&D world where things like magic, dragons, and non-human races are all around. Some of these non-humans, like elves and halflings, get along better with the human majority than others. Tucker's "people" (he wasn't raised by them or anything) are one of the less acceptable kinds, but in Hadriel he's learning that nobody cares, so it's more okay to share his secret.

Tucker's a shapeshifter, who currently has only two forms. Typically he's a tall human-looking dude, but sometimes he's a black wolf. In either form he is shifty and paranoid, but puts up a friendly facade. He's generally good at people, whether that's getting what he wants from them or getting them to like him, but sometimes he's a troll. He doesn't have a job in Hadriel, but if you trade him something good, he'll do things for you.

Notable CR: Harlan and Kyna obvs, but also George, Hayden, Rome, Newt, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting bc I'm tired. He has negative cr with Caedra.

Current Plans: I do not currently have plans for him! I just got off hiatus, and I'm still getting back into things.

CR you're looking for: Whatever tbh!!! He probably needs more non-human friends he can commiserate with. Maybe cr he can have serious convos with? But I'm open to anything.

Yes they should! What's Kelson up to lately? I could perhaps make a case for Tucker checking up on him and making sure he didn't die, but I'm open to other suggestions!

at the moment I don't have a whole lot of plans for him this month. during the cuddle event he'll probably be angrily laying on peoples' laps as a wolf, but I might do an open prompt where he attempts to get people to pet him.

other than that, does Kelson need to learn how to cook or pick locks? those are the things Tucker's signed up to teach people through Lance's list.

Yes! He could always use a male perspective. Margaery's sex ed is during the cuddle event but we can always make plans for after! Kelson could totally use some help learning to cook too. He knows a little from what people like Laura have taught him but it's not like he had a whole lot of experience back home.

god, sorry it took me so long to get back to this! but yeah, we can do something after the cuddle event. Tucker will also have an open starter for it, but I can make a case for him to contact Kelson and check on him or something!

so I was rereading old intro threads, and I just realized that Angus still thinks Tucker's name is Indiana Jones because that's how he introduced himself way back when!
