About Them: he's what happens when you cross Sam Spade with Johnny Five. Being a detective, he errs on the good side of morality, but occasionally gets his hands dirty to get a job done. He's currently head of the Guard in Hadriel, and spends a lot of his time doing paperwork and surveillance on the network. He looks like this! He's also missing all the synthetic skin on one hand, so it's no surprise people can tell he's a machine.
Notable CR: He lives with pretty-much-his-daughter Rey mostly at the Speakeasy these days, and they have a three-legged, one-eyed cat named Tripod. He's often with the Guard, and is aware of all the members, even if he hasn't gotten the chance to really get to know them. Keeps in close contact with his fellow mechanical buddy Oscar, and has recently gotten on pretty good terms with Atem. Aside from that, he knows who most folks are around town, even if only in passing or on the network.
Current Plans: He doesn't patrol himself as much these days because he's still battling a bad case of rust thanks to the rust monsters that came into town. He's still adjusting to his new position as the de facto leader of the Guard, and isn't taking it super great. He's about to find out he has a brother in town! Huzzah!
CR you're looking for: Pretty much open for anything! I need to work on strengthening his CR with the current Guard, and would enjoy some crossover CR with anyone who knows DiMA already. He has some real feelings about suddenly having a brother, man.
Notes:

We've been talking for a while on and off about doing more (between both Jon and Nick and Jon and Carlisle). Let's do that, but also, I wanted to let you know I'm keen to continue the inbox thread from last month! We'll probably both have to reread it though.

I am uniquely poorly placed today to be on a CR meme, because I'm not 100% sure what's going on with Jon this week (stuff is still being worked out), but there should be hooks coming for your characters one way or another.

About Them: he's a ~~magical nerd~~ cleric from a dumb fantasy world who is primarily a healer. Also works in casting through glyphs via a form of magic called glyphcrafting. Extremely religious and guilt-ridden. Noted for having glasses, an arm with an ink-stained bandage, a pedantic attitude, and a very punchable face. He's also very afraid of birds, bears, and the undead, probably in that order.

Note! He's also currently very colorless - literally. His hair is faded to a dull grey, skin nearly white, and his eyes glowing super vibrantly behind his glasses.

Notable CR: He lives with/is alien married to Glacius. Has a complicated friendship with Kate and makes enchanted tea for Rey. Is currently teaching Atem glyphcrafting. Whines occasionally to folks like Michael, Lance, and Pratt. Is real uncertain about Ravine, but she saved his life, so... ??? Has been rude to a lot of people. He's got a lot going on.
Current Plans: He's currently just trying not to die from aural exhaustion as his soul sort of bleeds out of his body. He spends a lot of time in his garden and the Memorial Garden, both on the northern island, and is a bit of a shut-in, but I'm always game to plan outings for him!
CR you're looking for: Nothing in particular! Send me all the CR, please. He needs more friends, enemies, and awkward encounters. Bonus points if you're undead, a robot, or can tell that he's basically undead at this point.

Okay but what if these two met? I realize it might just be all kinds of Bad but you know what I'm fine with that.

It will definitely be an antagonistic disaster because he's heard a lot about her, is pretty leery on demons due to his job and some previous events here in Hadriel, and he's basically dead already, but I'm game for them to bump into one another! Maybe not his garden so she wouldn't ever be tempted to walk through it and destroy it (which also kind of happened once already), but I can swing him being elsewhere!

Yeah yeah I wouldn't want to trash his poor garden, it's one of the only green spaces left! (She would want to especially because of that, but Caedra pls no...) Anyway I don't admittedly have hard plans for any upcoming toplevels but I'll keep an eye out for opportunities once she's back from sailing.

Sounds good to me. :> Will do the same! We'll throw these two together yet, which should go so well because they are kind of polar opposites in terms of affinities.

I would love to have Carlisle and Kettara meet to geek out over magic. And Ephemera will want to check in with Nick eventually.

Awwww yesssss. Bring me the magic CR. He'll apologize for calling her a beastman (the colloquial term for orcs/trolls/half-orcs in his world), but at least he'll be sort of on the right page.

She'll be grumpy, but she'll rally for magic talk :D
