Additional Info: I'm in PST. My work hours vary a lot, but I tag steadily and backtag forever! If I drop a thread, it's either because I felt like that was a natural end point or because somehow I lost it in my inbox - which rarely happens but HAS occasionally. If you ever want me to continue a thread, just let me know! I am also a mod, so sometimes modwork take precedence over tags, and if there's a longer wait then usual that's probably why.

About Them: Intelligent, practical, and cautious. While generally polite to people he doesn't know, Adam usually stays distant - it takes him awhile to warm up to someone, and he's very private about certain things. He's on the quiet side, but very stubborn and ambitious and very careful of his pride. He's definitely got some PTSD thanks to past abuse, which he handles... okay, but maybe not as well as he would with, like, actual therapy. He's good at planning, logical thinking, hard work, and not dealing directly with his own issues. Needle him in the right place and you'll find a temper under those good manners, as well as somewhat shaky morals of 'the end justifies the means' type. He's got a magical forest in his head that lets him scry and sometimes sense magic and ley lines, and it also means he hallucinates a lot! I often leave this out of tags so as not to confuse people but kind of want to play with it more, so we'll see. Also, he can't fight and thus will not be saving anyone from monsters. Sorry.
Notable CR: The rest of the raven crew - Gansey, Ronan, Noah, and now Blue. Outside of people from home, he's friendly with Lloyd, Z, Rainier, and especially Arya. He really sucks at making friends! He's sorry! He was poorly socialized and doesn't trust anybody!
Current Plans: Gansey is back and Blue has arrived, so Adam's life is actually going surprisingly well. He fills his time pretty well - he volunteers at the clinic, helps with whatever other projects people need help with, ransacks the shops for food and other items, and does some exploring. So he can be found around the city pretty easily, and of course at home! Currently he has no plans except to help get his friends settled in. In a Shocking Twist™, after dancing around each other for eight months he and Ronan finally sorted their shit out and are being stupid teenagers trying to navigate a relationship. So there's that.
CR you're looking for: More friends are always welcome! While Adam is hard to get really close to, he'll always be polite at first, and he can warm up to people over time for sure. Anyone who's willing to stick it out past the carefully polite wariness is appreciated. Negative CR is also welcome, but can be more difficult because Adam will just avoid people he doesn't like.

Yes, that would be great! He's tentatively curious about her, and if nothing else they can chat about sacrifices and strange eldritch magic. As one does.

About Them: Clever and witty and devastatingly handsome, Dorian is the person to go to if you want to chat about esoteric magic, play chess, discuss fashion, or get really drunk. While he doesn't open up to people immediately, he's not difficult to befriend at all, and will generally talk to anyone. He's got a sharp wit and a world-weary manner, but though Dorian acts flippant, he actually cares very deeply about both his ideals and his friends, and he'll go to great lengths for them. Also, he's a huge nerd and will happily nerd the fuck out with anyone. Or show off his magic, if they're into that.
Notable CR: Mostly the Theodosian crew from home - Cecily, Cullen, Rainier, all those folk. He's been befriending Henry recently, if you count 'digging out of the ground and then later getting drunk with' befriending, which Dorian absolutely does. Talks to a fair amount of people, doesn't make a ton of close friends, you know the drill.
Current Plans: Well, he just learned how to take selfies so THAT IS VERY EXCITING!! Otherwise, uh, he still hangs out at the library sometimes though it frustrates him deeply. He will help out whenever monsters appear, because he's got magic and is essentially a good person. Beyond that, he's not doing a whole lot - I'd like to get him out there more!
CR you're looking for: Friends, drinking buddies, people to exchange witty repartee with. Enemies are fine, Dorian can be an acquired taste, for sure, though he's reasonably easygoing when you get right down to it (a lot of bluster, not much substance when it comes to meanness). People to talk about nerdy magic stuff with, maybe! People to flirt with casually of either gender, though of course he'll only actually mean it with the gentlemen.

Doooorian ♥ I love tagging him, so I am always down for things! If you want to show off Dorian's mirror, etc. let me know. Maketh is teaching Henry modern drinking games which can be passed along, and Henry should definitely see Dorian fight some time!

I feel like Henry should maybe also introduce Dorian and Maketh -- she's a great driving force. And, you know, with Delight's bar popping up, Henry will 100% make the terrible life choice of trying to avenge his defeat at Maketh's hands in said drinking games and get promptly destroyed, so if Dorian wants to be reinforcement...

Clearly Dorian making a habit of rescuing Henry is fun.

Honestly, though, if there's ever anything you'd like to do! :)

Yes! Henry is so fun to tag. They should definitely trade mirrors somehow, if you're up for that, and drinking games are always a yes. I'm sure they'll both spend a good amount of time at Delight's bar when it appears. I'd love for him to meet Maketh too - he definitely needs more friends and drinking buddies, and she seems like fun.

So me and Fade were discussing it further down the page in Maketh's cr thread, and if it works for you, we thought it would be fun to use the 'while a drinking game betweeen Henry and Maketh is well underway in Delight's bar (and neither of them are very sober) Henry sees Dorian and decides to bring him into it' scenario for an introduction between them?

Fade's relevant comment which I think makes for a nice dynamic start to cr, though of course it's between you two.

I was also saying to Fade that when Henry's drunk the first thing that he loses is the restraint which usually keeps most of his impetuosity contained -- a consequence which I think could be interesting for Henry and Dorian's cr.

...Also for some strange reason Maketh's decided that she wants to make Henry blush -- probably because he was shocked when she mentioned that she likes doing shots off of stranger's bodies -- so it's safe to say that it offers a much more lighthearted thread than we've had so far!

Oh yes, that would be a perfect way! Dorian would be absolutely open to drinking games with a friend, and even with someone he's just met. That's totally his idea of a good time, and it would probably start him off with a very good impression of Maketh.

And he would absolutely love to see anyone make Henry blush, and would almost certainly participate himself. Dorian doesn't have a whole lot of shame, particularly when drunk. It could be a lot of fun, and I'd love a ridiculous drunken thread!

About Them: Josh is a totally cool bro who likes movies, has a good sense of humor, and makes friends easily. He would love to chill out with you and do such things as 'terrorize friends by trapping them in a horror movie' and 'fall into a deep depression' and 'struggle with mental health issues'. Good times, right? Definitely. Josh is currently doing a little better in some ways - he's accepting that he did some fucked up shit, he's leveled out from his med withdrawal, and he's starting to feel guilty. On the other hand, he just turned into a wendigo and it was really fucked up, he lacks any kind of medication or therapy to deal with his depression, and most of his friends don't trust him. So, you know. Ups and downs/
Notable CR: Chris, Ashley, Emily, he super appreciated Rhys' Pong but would maybe not call them actual friends, he chatted with Johanna a bit but definitely wouldn't call her a friend either.
Current Plans: Recovering from being wendigoized and his subsequent death, dealing with the fallout from that and the realization that whatever happened to his friends on the mountain might have been real, struggling with his mental health. All that fun stuff.
CR you're looking for: He could use more friends! Maybe some that don't already know he's an unstable mess, because he's pretty okay at faking it. Enemies are fine too. Anyone who can chat with him about movies or more serious topics. He doesn't have a ton of CR yet!
