In the Hadriel-as-an-apartment analogy, Fear is the chill roommate who brought home 20 cats one day and makes his other roommates take care of them. He hasn't been super active on the network lately, but he's still around! Fear ultimately pretty laidback and a little curious about you strange creatures, and honestly he just thinks that everyone should get along while he's simultaneously trying to terrify all the characters so he can consume power from them. It's a hard life.

About Them: Rey is a cyborg-type thing with loads of trauma and a mondo identity crisis. She's got the memories of eight different people inside her head, and oftentimes struggles trying to differentiate the person she is from the people she was. She talks with a monotone and acts like a dumb robot at first, but when she warms up to you she starts using pronouns and her emotions start to slip in a little more (but that can take a while). She acts like she doesn't care when she cares more than she lets on. She actually cares a lot. Don't let her not-caring attitude fool you.

Notable CR: There's no one that she hangs out with regularly or considers a close friend at the moment (like I said, it can take a while for her to warm up to anyone). She's been focused on trying to get the dam thing set up, which she had gotten started back in January. If anyone would like to follow up on that, that would be aces.

Otherwise, I guess the people of Spire Two would probably see her around a lot (like Nick and Kaz). She's going to be doing sword and hand-to-hand training with Arya Stark. Also she probably sees Sharon Da Silva a bit and bothers Rhys as well. Who knows.

She might be moving soon.

Current Plans: The hopeful future event is going to be having the opposite effect on Rey. She'll be torn between feeling angry about basically having this thing she personally feels to be an impossible prospect to just plain sad (mostly it'll be of her brother as well as a life with a lady from home she's a certain fondness for. The latter being the part that she'll be the most upset about. It's complicated). That said I plan for her to be drinking herself into a coma (not really) at Sally's bar until Delight's goes up. I'm going to be putting up an open log for her in a few days, if anyone wants to hit her up at said bar.

I'm also writing up a canon update for her, but I don't know when I'll submit it. Sometime in the near future she'll potentially be returning to Hadriel with a rebar in her chest, though! Because I am a horrible person to my characters. Just horrible. So if anyone wants to do anything with that, that would be rad, since she's probably going to be needing some help at that point.

CR you're looking for: Both positive and negatives are my bread and butter! But Rey is strangely easy to get along with, despite her usually blunt demeanor. As usual I would love for her to get on with fellow soldier/military types and people she can probably spar with to keep herself sharp (if you don't mind dealing with a 300lbs cyborg that is).

About Them: Gansey is an Ordinary Human. When he was ten years old, he died from being stung by hornets, and was brought back to life by a mystical force that referred to a ley line and someone called Glendower. As you can imagine, this experience caused a significant amount of trauma from which Gansey has never really recovered, though he has learned to hide it well. He has deeply held fears of death, bees and wasps (yes, he's allergic to both) (yes, that's very unusual, it sucks to be Gansey), and also 'emptiness', in a general sense. He doesn't like gaping open spaces, especially if they're dark. So being trapped in what's essentially an enormous cave? He's not loving that.

Trauma aside, he's also led a privileged life due to coming from a prominent 'old money' Virginian family. He's always been wealthy and his family are politicans and businessmen. He's aware of his own privilege, but this doesn't keep his foot out of his mouth. He's basically obsessed with all of his friends and heavily involved in their lives, so if you fuck with them, he'll take issue with it.

Gansey is typically friendly, polite and kind. He can be condescending without meaning to be, which he's aware of and feels bad about. He's pretty nerdy, obsessed with both history and magic, and very invested in locating Glendower. This is likely to come up if you become a good friend of his. Or even if you become a casual acquaintance of his, it's his favourite topic. He also talks (and kind of looks) like he's a lot older than he is.

Physically, he's described as effortlessly attractive (annoyingly so), with hazel eyes, a straight nose and broad, square shoulders. In canon people tend to have trouble working out his age until he tells them. His eyesight is awful; due to there not being a ready supply of contact lenses here, he wears glasses almost all the time. He also wears brightly coloured shirts, chinos, and boat shoes. So basically, he looks like a typical preppy rich kid with more money than sense, I'm so sorry for him.
Notable CR: Ronan Lynch, Adam Parrish, Noah Czerny and Blue Sargent are both his canonmates and his four best friends in the world. To make an enemy of them is to make an enemy of Gansey. He adores them.
Current Plans: The main thing Gansey wants is to find a way out of here, because being trapped in this murdercave prison is greatly impeding his seven year search for Glendower. He was nearing the end! He could feel it! How dare this place pull him away?! But at the same time, he's glad to be here because Adam, Ronan and Noah were all here, and now Blue is also here. He's invested in not only getting out, but taking all of them with him - and taking Noah home alive, too. To this end, he wants to learn about this place and its history, and about the magic that's here. In his mind, that's the only way to understand it and find a way out.
CR you're looking for: If you have magic, superpowers that look like magic, or anything similar to it, Gansey will have an interest in you. Equally if you are a character from the past, he'll be fascinated, because he loves history and he'll want your take on it. Anyone who wants to explore or research would be loved, and also other teenage characters will be loved! Gansey doesn't do all that well with people who try to 'mom' him, because he's quite busy doing that to everyone else. But you are welcome to try! Alternatively, if you would like him to mom you and take responsibility for making you happy, he is more than willing to oblige!

About Them:
Lilith is a total badass who has 3 entire feelings and doesn't care about anything but cash and murder. Except... not. While she IS strong, capable, and confident, the unfortunate side-effect of this is that she's stubborn, prideful, and very emotional but really awful at properly expressing any emotion that isn't "banter" or "im cooler than you". She's slowly getting better at not being a dick to everybody, though: she might try to fight for her own way, but she understands that it's necessary to play nice with others to get by, and she cares a lot more about people than she's willing to let on. yeah she's a giant tsundere i know it's embarrassing So yeah Lili means well even if she's sort of a mess. Really.
Notable CR:
Lilith's hanging around Maketh Tua (mismanagement) to help her map the area and do various other useful things! They yelled at each other and Lilith stomped off that one time but they've mostly patched things up. Since Lilith still feels vaguely guilty she's going to be sticking around her for a while to make up for it in her own awkward way. She's also regularly bugging Jack/Big Boss (camouflage) because blowing a wendigo up together is apparently a bonding experience!!! Sorry Johanna (morphinium). The Alcohol Demon (notjustinthemirror) gave her a large supply of booze with no catch, so she is gonna be inclined to keep him close as well. And, of course, her canonmates: she's still staying true to her word to bail him out if he needs it in the future, but she's side-eyeing Rhys (hybridification) for being Hyperion and also just because he's Rhys. She doesn't quite know what to think of Axton (attagirl) being from the future, but she's playing it by ear and trusting him well enough for the mo'.
Current Plans: Lilith's mirror will show a vision of herself with her Vault hunting team making their way through the Pandoran wilderness. Notably, she, Mordecai, Roland, and Brick won't be doing anything out of the ordinary: over the course of the vision they'll cheerfully shoot (and ofc loot) a number of monsters and bandits on their way to a sleepy little rest stop named Fyrestone. She'll be snapping up any mirrors she sees because she probably would without the compulsion. Sorry about prying into all your deepest hopes and dreams guys. Apart from that, this month she'll be trading monster carcasses for bullets from Rage, as well as bulking up her stash of supplies as usual. Can't completely trust the gods, so she might as well be prepared.
CR you're looking for:
everyone says this but ALL OF IT!! About Them: Peter is a sarcastic hobo werewolf with a heart of squishy and tarnished gold. He's used to living a life full of werewolves and vampires and magic and stuff, so not too much throws him. Except violence, he sucks at violence way more than someone who turns into a superpredator really should. He has magical testicles (yes, really) that will likely inform him if a character isn't human, but aren't helpful enough to tell him what they are unless it's a werewolf or a vampire, and sometimes they fritz out.
Notable CR: Peter lives with Newt and Thom, considers Arya his badass little cuz, and sorta knows some of the raven boys. He needs more friends but has a terrible tendency to keep to himself.
Current Plans: Peter will be helping Newt with his garden, mostly. Whether he participates in an event is wholly based in his stake in it--he was in on the buried alive event because Arya was buried, but skipped out on most of windigos because they give him flashbacks to some spoileriffic stuff. Peter's mirror will show a very normal life--surrounded by family with some kids, but no obvious wife. If you want to see Peter's family and friends that would be the time. How little he knows about how bad his future actually sucks.
CR you're looking for: more damaged, sarcastic boys, people who will call him on his shit, folks good at pulling reserved people out of their shells. Peter is very good at acting friendly without being friends. Other supernaturals always wanted!

About Them: Intelligent, practical, and cautious. While generally polite to people he doesn't know, Adam usually stays distant - it takes him awhile to warm up to someone, and he's very private about certain things. He's on the quiet side, but very stubborn and ambitious and very careful of his pride. He's definitely got some PTSD thanks to past abuse, which he handles... okay, but maybe not as well as he would with, like, actual therapy. He's good at planning, logical thinking, hard work, and not dealing directly with his own issues. Needle him in the right place and you'll find a temper under those good manners, as well as somewhat shaky morals of 'the end justifies the means' type. He's got a magical forest in his head that lets him scry and sometimes sense magic and ley lines, and it also means he hallucinates a lot! I often leave this out of tags so as not to confuse people but kind of want to play with it more, so we'll see. Also, he can't fight and thus will not be saving anyone from monsters. Sorry.
Notable CR: The rest of the raven crew - Gansey, Ronan, Noah, and now Blue. Outside of people from home, he's friendly with Lloyd, Z, Rainier, and especially Arya. He really sucks at making friends! He's sorry! He was poorly socialized and doesn't trust anybody!
Current Plans: Gansey is back and Blue has arrived, so Adam's life is actually going surprisingly well. He fills his time pretty well - he volunteers at the clinic, helps with whatever other projects people need help with, ransacks the shops for food and other items, and does some exploring. So he can be found around the city pretty easily, and of course at home! Currently he has no plans except to help get his friends settled in. In a Shocking Twist™, after dancing around each other for eight months he and Ronan finally sorted their shit out and are being stupid teenagers trying to navigate a relationship. So there's that.
CR you're looking for: More friends are always welcome! While Adam is hard to get really close to, he'll always be polite at first, and he can warm up to people over time for sure. Anyone who's willing to stick it out past the carefully polite wariness is appreciated. Negative CR is also welcome, but can be more difficult because Adam will just avoid people he doesn't like.

About Them: He still has no interest in being anyone's friend, despite feeding everyone and housing them and providing electricity and keeping them safe from monsters and doing a bunch of other stuff that is directly responsible for the inhabitants of Hadriel being able to survive and live relatively comfortable lives. Hope is overworked and stressed and tasked with trying to clean up after Fear's messes, and now sometimes after Rage's as well. It's basically the worst. No wonder he's always pissed. Well, all that and the death of everything he cared about. Whatever. He talks to people more than the rest of the gods, but he's also more unpleasant, so it's a tradeoff. Generally he is willing to make deals, though, if there's something you want or need.
Current Plans: Shoring up his power in anticipation of Delight's resurrection! Something he's actually looking forward to, because he and Delight get along pretty well and she's somewhat less likely to feed people human bits for fun. COUGH COUGH.

About Them: At first glance, Ronan is a 17 year old punk ass bitch. He wears leather jackets, muscle shirts, ripped jeans, has closely-shaved hair, and a back tattoo that's visible creeping up his neck. Second glance proves that he pretty much lives into the stereotype. He's blunt, short spoken, crass, and is super willing to back himself up with a punch or two.

Deeper down, he's honest, he's fiercely loyal to the few people who have the patience to work past his rough exterior, and he's brusquely compassionate. He has the ability to take virtually any object out of his dreams, and after all is said and done, he's a damn good person to have on your side.

Notable CR: Currently lives in the Raven house with Gansey (quaerit), who is his unquestioned leader, Noah (casperdisaster), who he gets into trouble with, Adam (unknowable), who is... kind of his boyfriend... now... and Blue (ampliat) who is the one and only raven girl, and new to Hadriel. He's also tentatively taken Bruce (zen_en_vert) into his inner circle, and he's growing used to Z (isacrowd). He has a petty-but-cute antagonistic relationship with Arya (whichend) and a straight-up antagonistic relationship with Nick (bekommen)

Current Plans: antagonizing Blue, slowly working out his relationship with Adam. Also, Ronan is still supplying the clinic with mysteriously-gained medical supplies and generally prowling around and looking for trouble. His mirror is going to be a very schmoopy future of himself and his friends at his magical childhood home, and Ronan is going to try to keep that shit secret, but I would love for anyone to find it somehow c:

CR you're looking for: While Ronan is vastly more prone to negative CR, positive CR is possible with him and can be pretty rewarding, if your character has thick skin and a lot of patience. He doesn't get offended easily and gets along better with people who have more chill personalities. I'm always looking out for more people who Ronan can get into arguments with as well, as he has a pretty impressive track record for fighting half the people in Hadriel. It's a problem.

About Them: Clever and witty and devastatingly handsome, Dorian is the person to go to if you want to chat about esoteric magic, play chess, discuss fashion, or get really drunk. While he doesn't open up to people immediately, he's not difficult to befriend at all, and will generally talk to anyone. He's got a sharp wit and a world-weary manner, but though Dorian acts flippant, he actually cares very deeply about both his ideals and his friends, and he'll go to great lengths for them. Also, he's a huge nerd and will happily nerd the fuck out with anyone. Or show off his magic, if they're into that.
Notable CR: Mostly the Theodosian crew from home - Cecily, Cullen, Rainier, all those folk. He's been befriending Henry recently, if you count 'digging out of the ground and then later getting drunk with' befriending, which Dorian absolutely does. Talks to a fair amount of people, doesn't make a ton of close friends, you know the drill.
Current Plans: Well, he just learned how to take selfies so THAT IS VERY EXCITING!! Otherwise, uh, he still hangs out at the library sometimes though it frustrates him deeply. He will help out whenever monsters appear, because he's got magic and is essentially a good person. Beyond that, he's not doing a whole lot - I'd like to get him out there more!
CR you're looking for: Friends, drinking buddies, people to exchange witty repartee with. Enemies are fine, Dorian can be an acquired taste, for sure, though he's reasonably easygoing when you get right down to it (a lot of bluster, not much substance when it comes to meanness). People to talk about nerdy magic stuff with, maybe! People to flirt with casually of either gender, though of course he'll only actually mean it with the gentlemen.

About Them: Josh is a totally cool bro who likes movies, has a good sense of humor, and makes friends easily. He would love to chill out with you and do such things as 'terrorize friends by trapping them in a horror movie' and 'fall into a deep depression' and 'struggle with mental health issues'. Good times, right? Definitely. Josh is currently doing a little better in some ways - he's accepting that he did some fucked up shit, he's leveled out from his med withdrawal, and he's starting to feel guilty. On the other hand, he just turned into a wendigo and it was really fucked up, he lacks any kind of medication or therapy to deal with his depression, and most of his friends don't trust him. So, you know. Ups and downs/
Notable CR: Chris, Ashley, Emily, he super appreciated Rhys' Pong but would maybe not call them actual friends, he chatted with Johanna a bit but definitely wouldn't call her a friend either.
Current Plans: Recovering from being wendigoized and his subsequent death, dealing with the fallout from that and the realization that whatever happened to his friends on the mountain might have been real, struggling with his mental health. All that fun stuff.
CR you're looking for: He could use more friends! Maybe some that don't already know he's an unstable mess, because he's pretty okay at faking it. Enemies are fine too. Anyone who can chat with him about movies or more serious topics. He doesn't have a ton of CR yet!

Scruffy teenage boy with a dorky stubbly beard who tries his best. He's prone to sass, but he's very openly helpful and altruistic because none of you guys need to die. :( A little self-deprecating, a little awkward and embarrassing, not so great at banter yet. He's trying, ok??? Also, he has a murderous WMD-capable alien superweapon inside his head, have fun with that.
Notable CR: Nobody yet!
Current Plans: Not too much yet as he's just gotten here: he'll be surveying the area for safety and whatnot and trying to figure out a way to get out and bring everybody back home. He may also try to mess with the network with Khaji's help, and he'll be around Hadriel as just Jaime AND patrolling as the Beetle making sure nobody is hurting themselves too terribly...
CR you're looking for: Positive CR comes very easily to Jaime because he's willing to make friends and alliances at all times, but I'd love negative stuff too! Again, he just joined, so it's anybody's game rn. :9

About Them: Z is a bro. She will go adventuring with you and make stupid jokes and have as much fun trolling bad guys and monsters as she enjoys defeating them. She is also a cupcake, she has a soft spot for people who've struggled and who look like they need a friend. She has kind of a mommy friend streak, too, so if you're in her circle, she'll actively make sure you're doing okay (and if you're not, she'll still try to save you or help you if she sees you're in danger). She has the ability to replicate, which she has not yet done to troll people.

Notable CR: Kamina is her bro in the ways of sentai here in Hadriel. She has kind of adopted Adam from TRC and has actually opened up to him quite a bit. She is taking swordfighting lessons with Rainier, which she looooves.

Current Plans: Z is currently doing her first round of being on the city watch, which basically means she keeps an eye out for monsters and other trouble, and she goes into the arena to help out noobs. Her hopeful future will be her at home with her teammates at the opening of a big homeless shelter and soup kitchen. She will try not to look at other people's mirrors out of politeness, but she may not be able to help it during the time when characters feel compelled to look at mirrors.

In the interest of full disclosure, I'm considering dropping her. :/ But since she's still here, I'm posting her on the CR meme. If nothing else, we can talk how to wind down any existing CR just in case, or she can be involved in moving forward another character's plot. I love her and she is a great polar opposite to Emily, but I'm always worried about making AC with her.

CR you're looking for: Pretty much what I said in the last paragraph. Contingency planning for her probable departure from Hadriel, and anything anyone else may need another character for.

About Them: Pell is friendly and kind with a gentle nature. He’s used to a life of war and traveling through dangerous terrain and desert farming and other difficult things like that so he’ll adjust to life in murdercave pretty fast except for the monsters. He doesn’t like to have to fight but he will and can. Mostly he’s going to heal people where he can and set things on fire and have a lot of feelings. He’s codependent without his other half right now so he’ll be looking for people to attach to. He doesn’t do well alone. Pell is also extremely androgynous, and the way he keeps his hair super long will probably lead many characters to think he’s female. That’s cool. Either way is cool, whether you assume he’s a human male or female, or if you can tell that he’s something entirely different. He’ll explain.

About Them: An ex-pirate queen (Or so she prefers to claim) turned Admiral, and head honcho of a pirate run city state. Although she isn't terribly popular with some of the more radical crews living in Limsa's port (There was a cutscene in 1.0 where she catches an axe thrown at her head and carries on in her speech with 0 fucks given...) she is utterly devoted to protecting her city and helping it grow into something more.

Although she might be pretty intimidating to approach at first, Merlwyb is generally polite in most company and happy to make conversation with just about anyone. Bring a drink or twelve and you'll be bosom buddies in no time!
But hey, maybe you're a civilian wanting to learn some martial skills or strategy? She's got you covered whether it's firing a few guns or playing a glorified version of battleship.

About Them: Also known as 'that guy that everyone universally hates because he launched a video game on the day we all realized some of us were turning into monsters and eating people'. Rhys isn't necessarily a bad guy, he's just self-centered, ambitious, greedy, and has basically no honor whatsoever. He tries really hard though, and he's actually pretty decent with computers, which could be helpful if he learned to apply himself or had someone to push him in that direction. He's also a huge nerd and is into pop culture and essentially is played as a very comedic character.

Small detail: he has a mostly-dormant AI of his dead boss installed in his brain. I don't play this up too much, but it's a fun little fact that sometimes he hallucinates the guy who he used to idolize, and aforementioned guy basically tells him to go choke on a dick because he's so lame.

Notable CR: Rhys has two new canonmates: Lilith (cashlin), who is not from his timeline and who TERRIFIES HIM because he knows that if she finds out about who he is or any of the shit that went down after her time, she will literally kill him. So, he's bartered for the help of his other canonmate, Axton (attagirl) to protect him from her. Problem is, Axton also hates him, and, uh, was one of the guys who murdered the dead AI in his head. Shit is complicated.

On a not-castmate front, he's getting to be nerrrrds with Chris (thechoiceisyours) and they might be developing some fun stuff for Hadriel in the future! Additionally, he's roommates with Gren (murderpotato) and that goes about as well as can be expected. Ashley (cowardley), in a hilarious twist of fate, is acting as his moral compass, and that will go super well, I'm sure.

Current Plans: Fixing Axton's turret! His mirror will show him as being the ruler of Hyperion, with everyone else bowing down to him, and Rhys will be kind of confused as to why it doesn't make him as happy as it should :c

Notable CR: His... dog... Hawke is not very likable until you get to know him (and even then...) and sort of just marches to the beat of his own drum, he is a strong independent champion who don't need no man, SO he just sort of hangs with his doge.

About Them: Overconfident because she is actually a disaster on the inside, Emily is that alpha rich bitch who you just... you wonder why her friends put up with her shit. 'Cause damn does she dish out a lot of shit. But she's also loyal and probably buys her friends the best (read: most expensive) gifts. She's bossy and catty and a hell of a jerk, manipulative, self-centered, makes nearly every conversation about her and about how much you suck... but she's also there for you if your life is going to shit. She'll flip life off for you and kick its ass and then maybe buy you a pair of shoes you want from some obscure Prussian designer or some shit, idk. She's a mess and she knows it, so she hides it and won't let you see it. Or tear you apart if you even come close to seeing it. Actually she may tear you apart anyway. Did she mention she's rich? Because she is.

Notable CR: The other UDers, naturally. She and Chris get along surprisingly well and I love it?? She's kind of iffy about Josh, but he's part of her group, so she'll still look out for him (she will kill you if you tell him or anyone else this). She's on iffy terms with Ashley but she is trying and that's what matters. Her friendship (lol if you can call it that) with Jess is ... in dire need of repairs, but hopefully they'll get there. It'll just, you know, take a while. A long while. (She's stubborn okay.)

As for others, she doesn't hate Newt or Maketh, which is a plus for them good job guys!! Everyone else she just doesn't care for, sorry not sorry. (I'm sorry. She's not sorry.) Also I like to think Rage gets a kick out of Emily just because Em spends so much time being angry.

Current Plans: She's kind of doing this half-assed self-exile thing where she spends most of her days lately just wandering around the city. (It's weird being at home after the wendigo thing, okay.) Good time to have her meet new people or reconnect with peeps she's already spoken with! Her hopeful future will be something that indicates that she is a successful magazine editor and that Jessica models in her magazine. As yet I'm not sure if Matt (her boyfriend) will be in the mirror, but only because I'm still deciding whether she would think of their relationship so long-term.

Notable CR: Henry Percy is her BFF, co-conspirator in their ongoing and probably ill-advised war against the gods, and drinking buddy. Her working relationship with Lilith is...um. Complicated. Stay tuned. She's also had something of a drunken bonding moment with Chris over their various wendigo involved shenanigans, and has talked shop with Newt a few times. She's somewhat fond of Axton, though doesn't know him very well just yet.

Current Plans: After getting herself turned into a wendigo and subsequently executed by a friend, Maketh is doing the Imperial thing - which is to pretend that absolutely nothing happened and everything is fine and why is no one getting work done?!? This is going about as well as expected. The hopeful future she sees in the mirror is going to throw her for a bit and she'll be more inclined to attempt social things for a bit in an attempt to try and Be A Person. Not being part of the Empire is scary, okay?
CR you're looking for: Everything! Especially characters who will pull Maketh out of her shell and force her to try and act normal for a bit instead of just rambling on about tactics and planning. Also someone to call her out on her jerkass tendencies because that needs to happen eventually.
