About Them: The kinda-sorta-not military affiliated bureaucrat who yells at everyone and thinks getting people drunk will stop any uncomfortable conversation in its tracks.
Notable CR: Henry Percy is her BFF, co-conspirator in their ongoing and probably ill-advised war against the gods, and drinking buddy. Her working relationship with Lilith is...um. Complicated. Stay tuned. She's also had something of a drunken bonding moment with Chris over their various wendigo involved shenanigans, and has talked shop with Newt a few times. She's somewhat fond of Axton, though doesn't know him very well just yet.

Current Plans: After getting herself turned into a wendigo and subsequently executed by a friend, Maketh is doing the Imperial thing - which is to pretend that absolutely nothing happened and everything is fine and why is no one getting work done?!? This is going about as well as expected. The hopeful future she sees in the mirror is going to throw her for a bit and she'll be more inclined to attempt social things for a bit in an attempt to try and Be A Person. Not being part of the Empire is scary, okay?
CR you're looking for: Everything! Especially characters who will pull Maketh out of her shell and force her to try and act normal for a bit instead of just rambling on about tactics and planning. Also someone to call her out on her jerkass tendencies because that needs to happen eventually.

Pretty much no waha -_- Emily is currently spending a lot of time out in the shops and maybe by the river or at a park, kinda mad but not mad enough to do anything about being mad.

They could always run into each other at Delight's bar 8D I feel like Emily is two kinds of drinker depending on how she feels about life: the careful one who knows when to stop, and the extreme one who blacks out and hates herself the next day. No in between. So we can play with that if it seems cool? Also whether or not we have them thread while drinking (hell yeah underage drinking!!), Emily might make Maketh deal with the fact that hello we were cannibal monsters. So. Yeah!

That was barely any help and I am sorry, sobs.

I like the bar idea. Especially since Maketh's pretty much a binge drinker and not-so-boarderline alcoholic who thinks getting wasted will solve all life's problems. Or at least those pesky emotional ones.

And it'd be interesting for Maketh to make the switch between "I almost hurt people!" to "I ate people (by accident) and really wanted to rip my roommate's face off", since she....hasn't really dealt with the last part. At all.

Wahaha excellent. To all of that. Emily hasn't really dealt with the cannibalism deal (she's kind of working on it in a thread with her friend Ashley), so it will be neat as hell to see her talk to a stranger about it.

Bonding over accidental cannibalism is something I never knew I needed in life tbh.

But in all seriousness, let's do everything! I am always up for tagging Maketh ♥ no plot too deep or too trivial etc. what are BFFs for. Mirror based stuff is a given, with that event coming up -- he'll nose at hers given half the chance and he won't hide his.

BTW, when Delight's bar is here he will 100% challenge her to drinking game rematches (and be destined to lose them) so prepare your best ones!

Excellent ^^ I'm having a blast with these two. We should definately do something with the mirrors. Possibly alongside Maketh attempting to show Henry how to work some of the appliances. Have you decided what Henry's mirror will show?

....YES. Oh man yes.

Yes! His mirror will show him, Edward and Iamarl back home in England -- which is to say, him and Edward at Iamarl's grave. But they'll both be hale and happy, so it's the future after the worst parts of the grief of her loss is dealt with. (He... has a lot of issues over her death which he's repressing, and honestly, with good short-term reason. But it's also the worst risk.)

He's a gracious loser, but that doesn't mean that he won't want to restore his honour. And as you can imagine, he's ultra competitive and dogged. Yet he'll never win, because Maketh is queen. B)

Oh, Henry. Though at least there ought to be some comfort in that.

Maketh's is going to show her in Hadriel, which she's going to be very conflicted about. But it'll be a positive one, for the most part, because she could use a break.

Aww, Henry. Be careful, she's got a couple up her sleeve. She still wants to try and make him blush. Because reasons, mostly.

There definitely will be. He'll be keeping his mirror for sure. And awwww, good!

Also he must introduce Maketh to Dorian. As far as Henry's concerned, his friends should also be each other's allies.

Maketh too. Though she'll be conflicted about it. And I decided her ex is going to show up in it, because why not, that's not awkward at all.

Well, as far as I see it, there are a few options for initial contact! Either more seriously, where a) Henry simply decides that they should be allies because he likes them both and has them meet or b) during one of this month's events, since I'm making plans with both of them anyway. Or else there is plenty of opportunity when Delight's bar is here and Henry is losing to Maketh in drinking games, because there are no rules about calling in reinforcements, right?

I'll add that to the list, then :D

Hmm. Decisions, decisions. I like the idea of Maketh meeting Dorian when she's not sober, and have whatever shenanigans they get into contrasting with her eventual sober idea of Dorian - and Henry's opinions of Dorian, and so on. If that makes sense?

They should meet, because Dorian is also Henry's friend, definitely needs another drinking buddy, and is pretty good at dragging people out of their shells when he tries.

That would be a fun thread. We should plan something.

Yes! I love the idea of Dorian getting drawn into a drinking game or two once Delight's bar appears. It would start him off with a great impression of Maketh, probably - anyone fun to drink with can easily be a friend of his.

That's probably a good idea, since she can come off completely different when she's sober ^^ I shall look forward to it.
