About Them: A wise-cracking former treasure hunter turned salvage diver, Nate is generally easy-going and friendly with an unintentional case of foot-in-mouth syndrome. He has a Genuine Rowdy Boy past that isn't all that far behind him, but for the most part he's a huge history nerd who will excitedly show you his sketchbook. Nate suffers from Conventional Handsomeness and is blissfully unaware of it, which is for the best because otherwise he would be insufferable. He's loyal and opinionated and stubborn, but will have your back in a fight.

Notable CR: His wife, Elena Fisher. Local hoodlums Taako and Lup Taaco. Resident shrink Lance Sweets. Works for Nick Valentine on the down-low, keeping an eye on a few people. Also friends with Poe Dameron, and wants to make sure Peter Parker doesn't get himself killed. Terrified (and dealing with it) of Caedra Nisariel, demon. Agent Maine thinks he's a grave robber.

Current Plans: Nate most recently returned from an insane expedition he led out to the mountains to find a bunker full of horrible things. During the upcoming Predator v. Prey event, Nate will be the former, and his plotting comment is here! On a regular day-to-day basis he's out and about in the city, so running into him is common.

CR you're looking for: Friends AND enemies - he makes both with ease but has way fewer of the latter here. Sparring partners would also be rad, he hates to get rusty!

it was a whole one mention so far right here and finn is already tentatively prepared to stan nate

dunking on hux is the other group bonding activity for star wars including friendships so it's really the full package

I can offer you this guy and also Red Wine who are both very proficient in the weapons they use and could give Nate a run for his money wrt sparring.

I can also offer Poison, who has her own sketchbook with lots of drawings in that she isn't shy to show to interested parties.

For some antagonism, I have Mogget, who will needle him and not give any shits about what he thinks, while getting white fur on that nice black t-shirt that he just washed.

I know you mentioned Poison to me before and I think a drawing buddy would be really really cute :')

hopefully post-event I can get Nate into some fighting stuff to better facilitate that
although Nate has like 0 experience in melee beyond smashing a gun into someone's face
the entire final boss battle of Uncharted 4 is just Nate Is Bad At Swords lmf

ALSO well, it could end up being a skill trade of sorts. While Red has no need to know hand to hand because, well, he's ridiculously fast anyway and good luck disarming him, it stands to reason Ignis would know it tho he prefers blades/polearms so is likely not as good at it as when he has daggers in his hands.
