About Them: Walking gay disaster with a colorful use of words. She's got a collection of fabricated memories belonging to different women who were soldiers and/or assassins because robot brain and stuff. Yay war trauma.

She's got a lot of intentionally-inflicted scars on her face. Also has the ability to not-so-spontaneously combust herself and things around her and manipulate heat, making her the perfect cuddle buddy in these icy climes until the move... if you can get her to sit still long enough.

Runs the Speakeasy and (usually) welcome dance nights for the newbies on the intro logs. I kinda failed at that these last couple months, though. Wups sorry.

Notable CR: Lives with the local dadbot Nick Valentine.
Oscar is her unclebot-shaped thing.
Friends with Rosie, Alphys, Sharon da Silva, and Carlisle Longinmouth.
Stuff's weird with Caedra but Rey more or less tolerates the murder demon lady.
She kinda has a thing going with Laura Palmer but it's also all weird and stuff, as things usually are with her.
Rey is still technically part of the Guard in a near-unofficial capacity, so some of them might know of her.
You might also catch a mutant three-legged cyclopean cat around her named Tripod and he is a good monster boy who protects this weirdo lady.

Current Plans: Nothing too glamorous, but I'd like to try and change that because things have been really blah for me as of late. She's currently nurturing some ideas of going on scouting trips to other planets (namely the Null one if the vote takes them somewhere else).
Opting her out of the predator/prey event because she's a smart cookie but also doesn't want to stick around while a bunch of people are killing each other, she's had a bad experience with that in-game before and she never got over it. She's too dang old for these murder shenanigans.

She'd probably secretly like some help with the Speakeasy/Game Room, as I've been personally having some problems keeping up with stuff like the welcome nights every month, so if anyone wants to collaborate and take some of the workload that would be nice. Rey has gotten to the "whatever I don't care anymore" stage of things so she could probably use a push anyway.

CR you're looking for: Some light CR that can help push her out of this rut she's been in because antagonistic stuff is exhausting to me right now. As usual, I also love soldier CR that can sit and talk about the days before the war, robots (it's complicated and she might give them the cold shoulder at first), and just characters who are in general the opposite in temperament of the kinda person Rey is.
She's been around for more than three years now (where has the time gone??), so that makes her a very good source of information for those who want to know about the game history. But that also makes her a bit of a jaded asshole, so heads up on that.

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Caedra Nisariel

About Them: Caedra is a demon, the very concept of chaos and evil given physical form. She's social and fun and cheerful until she decides she hates you and wants to slice you open and tear out your organs. Depending on how she's feeling and how you're acting toward her she can come across as refined and elegant, casual and bubbly, or an actual violent nightmare. She's impulsive, lies often and frequently, and growing more and more frustrated with these gods and these people.

I have an appearance post here as well.

Notable CR: Law, Semiyon, and Ivar are the closest she has to friends. Rey, Laura, and more recently Hux are people she has an interest in because they've been helpful or could be. She has a tenuous agreement with Harlan and Kyna not to kill anyone if the gods didn't inspire her to do it but we'll see how long that lasts. Many others have suffered at her hands, or will be suffering shortly in the upcoming plot!

Current Plans: There's some definite murder about to happen once the PvP event kicks off. She has also just recently gotten back from a bunker trip where she played with a map of emotion-inducing planets, and just before that she killed one of the hosts and ate its soul and got to feel what being helpless and despairing is like for what might be the first time ever. She's interested in getting home above all else and it's that goal that allows her to work with people. Sometimes. Other times she just wants to throw a wrench in the machine and a fireball at the crowd and take out as many victims as she can.

CR you're looking for: A lot of her longer-term CR has dropped in the last couple of months so this is a good opportunity to meet her as she is actively looking for people who might be useful, particularly if they are critical of the gods or sympathetic with the Null or just angry at the whole situation. She's not pro-Null by any means, but she loves inciting conflict in general.

That said, if you're looking for negative CR for any reason, or if you want someone to hang out with who will laugh over a few drinks as the world burns down, she's your girl.

Current Plans: obvs he's just arrived so ... no long term plans at present (see below!). i'm going to hit up the PvP post later, but as a hard and fast: peter at least won't be affected by rage, so until i've ... slept and made a decision, he's either going to be prey or just not affected at all, so am happy for him to, you know ... be an actual helpful, friendly, neighbourhood spider-man.

CR you're looking for: typically "anything", but as a note: peter will be quite protective about his spider-man identity, at least at first, so there's room to play around with that given mcu!peter running around. partly related, partly not: spider-man is a definite coping mechanism for peter, and he uses vigilantism as both a distraction and a way to (not really) deal with life, so for as much as he's able to, he will be ... being spider-man (take #2). there will be a necessary period of adjustment in the sense that it won't be as easy to keep the anonymity and the separation of peter and spider-man in hadriel, which he'll ... find frustrating.

in terms of peter specifically, he'll get involved the lab and any scientific/tech ventures in progress.

About Them: One part chef, one part magic, all parts disaster. Taako is a Dungeons and Dragons elf wizard, half of the famed Texmex Twins, and all around genera nuisance. He casts spells, he's got the big ol' ears, he's the whole package. It's important to note that he's from a podcast medium so art and interpretation varies a lot; I try to keep my icons consistent but for visuals he's just under 6 feet, dark brown skin and long whiteish blonde hair, usually tied back in a braid. Think this or this for quick reference. Mostly, he's obnoxious, a little too OP, and liable to be up in a lot of business that doesn't concern him.

Notable CR: He's with his twin, Lup, a significant amount, along with the other people in his house (Barry, Angus, and Kravitz). He's pretty strained with Lucretia but absolutely knows she exists. He's also bffs with Nathan Drake, Elena Fisher, and Cecily, and knows an absolute ton more people- he's 2 months off from his 2 year anniversary, so he's got a lot of connections.

Current Plans: He's gonna be playing both sides for the event thanks to kickin' it halfway through (shoutout to my man Nate), and outside of that he also offers magic lessons should your character want to learn how to be a wizard!! Which uh, wow, hope no one blames him for giving a few more people more literal firepower for this event huh...

CR you're looking for: Honestly anything goes- he's been around for a WHILE now so I never want him to feel inaccessible or otherwise unable to be approached! Let me at it! Or more specifically, it's usually let him at it, because he will get into everything.

About Them: One part lizard, one part scientist, all parts Doing Her Absolute Best. Alphys is a 4 foot tall lizard monster who's a gifted engineer and robotics expert, and one half of running the Hadriel Labs with Newt. She's also an anime fanatic, lover of all things cute, and is truly just trying to be a good person in a city that is Determined To Not Be Very Good Actually. Can typically be found in a lab coat and big glasses, and like, probably looks more like this if we're being real here.

Notable CR: She's often at the Lab with Newt and anyone who hangs out there, is roommates with Rosie and Mettaton, and hangs out with a ton more. She's been in game for almost 3 years, so chances are if your character has heard of the Lab or needs some technology dealt with, they've crossed paths or know she's there.

Current Plans: Alphys will be on Team Rage for the event and prove that just because you're small and cold-blooded in an ice planet doesn't mean you cannot fully destroy lives. She's making a death bot. It's gonna be great. Outside of events you can check the Lab comm for any major projects at underfunded!

About Them: A wise-cracking former treasure hunter turned salvage diver, Nate is generally easy-going and friendly with an unintentional case of foot-in-mouth syndrome. He has a Genuine Rowdy Boy past that isn't all that far behind him, but for the most part he's a huge history nerd who will excitedly show you his sketchbook. Nate suffers from Conventional Handsomeness and is blissfully unaware of it, which is for the best because otherwise he would be insufferable. He's loyal and opinionated and stubborn, but will have your back in a fight.

Notable CR: His wife, Elena Fisher. Local hoodlums Taako and Lup Taaco. Resident shrink Lance Sweets. Works for Nick Valentine on the down-low, keeping an eye on a few people. Also friends with Poe Dameron, and wants to make sure Peter Parker doesn't get himself killed. Terrified (and dealing with it) of Caedra Nisariel, demon. Agent Maine thinks he's a grave robber.

Current Plans: Nate most recently returned from an insane expedition he led out to the mountains to find a bunker full of horrible things. During the upcoming Predator v. Prey event, Nate will be the former, and his plotting comment is here! On a regular day-to-day basis he's out and about in the city, so running into him is common.

CR you're looking for: Friends AND enemies - he makes both with ease but has way fewer of the latter here. Sparring partners would also be rad, he hates to get rusty!

About Them:
Scott is a Pathfinder, which means he's in charge of finding a home for his people in a galaxy that wants to kill literally everyone in it while a hostile alien race continuously harasses and thwarts their efforts. During all of this he manages to keep a humorous outlook because if he doesn't he will literally go insane. It's how he copes. Despite his snarky and unprofessional approach to things he can be serious when the situation calls for it and he doesn't make light of his job/duties. He can also be an emotional mess, mostly when it comes to his relationship with others. He cares a whole lot and sometimes that makes him do stupid things. Stupider than usual. He's young and still finding his place in the world so despite his position of authority he never really figured out how to be...well, authoritative. He's a walking hot mess but he'll be there for friends and is good for a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen to you ramble about how everything sucks. Oh and as for physical he has a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He also literally always slicks back his hair and it's totally dyed if you want your character to notice or make fun of him for.

Notable CR: He spends a lot of time at the guard, he considers Wash a friend, recently he was part of the nautilus capture crew so he'll probably be seen around the lab bothering those peeps. Peter is a spider bro and he'll fight for him. He doesn't know what the hell is going on with Zack at any given time but he will also fight for him to (especially since he saw one of his really fucked up memories, rip).

Current Plans: He's invested in helping with the nautilus stuff but he'll be fear during the event and he's gonna die pretty hard protecting Kyna from Spiderman (i love this sentence) and also his birthday is on the 21st so happy birthday to Scott. I don't know what date he'll die yet but I might make it later in the event so he can do things prior, so lmk if you want anything! Scott is secretly (really shit at hiding it) lonely as heck and wants more friends.

CR you're looking for: I'd love for Scott to meet more people who are just prone to being goofy and also being a little shit. He's also good at being that one guy who will listen to you talk for like two hours and try to be encouraging with an added side of really stupid humor so if you have someone who needs cheesy pep talks and dumbass jokes hmu. ALSO as I said above Scott is kind of lost and in that awkward stage of "finding himself" which is hard when you have a huge ass responsibility forced on you so it would be awesome for people with experience to be sort of kind of mentor-y? Oh and he only got the job as Pathfinder because his father died saving him and passed the title on to him and he was so not prepared for that so he's got a bit of a chip on his shoulder regarding that. He also lost his mother and his sister the last time he saw her was in a coma so I don't know...FAMILY ISSUES I'd love to play with that. Anyway HIT ME UP FOR ANYTHING.

About Them: Michael is an autopsy tech with a monster in his head. The monster hates murderers but lately he's been making some progress in preventing it from eating them. You know, usual stuff.
He's kinda shy and awkward around new people, and his speech is littered with hesitations, but he's a good listener, tries to be understanding, and is very protective of the people he's close to. He's also a human disaster who forgets to eat and probably smells like monster carcass. So there's that.

Notable CR: Michael's closest cr is Harlan Halliday, because they're dating. His other cr includes, but is not limited to (because I'm forgetful): Carlisle, Law, Delmar, everyone involved in the recent host capture plot, Newt, Kyna, and LOTS OF OTHERS SORRY I HAVE TO GO TO WORK SOON

Current Plans: For the upcoming event, Michael is predator. He's resisting these urges with the help of Carlisle, and won't be killing or stalking anyone. I decided to use this event to further his development in that area. THAT SAID if you want to plan something for the event, lmk and we'll see what we can work out! Otherwise Michael is still doin his clinic and lab stuff, and will be helping to capture some hosts!

About Them: Lucretia is a reserved older woman who wears wizard robes, carries a staff, and has a voice dripping with gravitas. She's from near the end of her canon, so please let me know if you'd like to avoid spoilers and uhhh I'll see what I can do. She's generally polite, if sometimes a little socially awkward - she's been pretty isolated for a long time and is a little shy by nature. Brilliant, great at keeping secrets, exceptionally accomplished wizard, not good at foresight or thinking through the consequences of her actions.
Notable CR: Mostly Lup and her other castmates still. I'd love to get her out to meet more people as well as further develop CR with people she's already met, though!
Current Plans: Lucretia will be predator for at least part of the event this month; plotting comment here! In less traumatizing plans she's trying to gather everything she can find on the history of Hadriel (books, oral histories from people who have been around for a while, etc.) with the eventual plan of putting it all down in writing for posterity/to help newbies get the whole story.
CR you're looking for: Fellow nerd friends please, let her interview you and show you her sketchbook. Also anyone who's going to drag her forcibly out of her shell and get her caught up in their insufferable shenanigans. Torment her, she's used to it.

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Ignis Scientia
Canon: Final Fantasy XV

About Them: An intelligent, practical person who sometimes takes himself too seriously and occasionally has trouble reading the humour of other people. Ignis is young but a well-trained fighter, as well as a proficient chef. He is highly intelligent and knows it, has a dry/sarcastic sense of humour and a tendency to gloat when he's proven right, but is an all-around decent guy and someone who is good to have as a friend - unfailingly loyal and always willing to supply a fantastic meal.

He grew up mostly under the eye of the royal line of Lucis, placed by the crown prince's side as his retainer from the age of six and given a very high-quality education. While this didn't impact on his social skills quite as one might expect, he does tend to behave in a more 'proper' way than most until he's known a little better.

Notable CR: His dearest and closest friend Noctis and his girlfriend Kate are the top two as ever. Cecily and several members of the Guard that he doesn't know too well yet coming in after that. He's also been working a little more on getting better acquainted with the likes of Nick and Carlisle.

Current Plans: Ignis has been canon-updated since the last CR meme, and with that has come a whole host of problems that he isn't really speaking to anyone about at the moment. A long-term plan for him is to have the various things he learned in that update begin to bother him, making him a little more waspish and ill-tempered than he would usually be.

Otherwise, he's still working with the Guard. He's developed the tendency to go on patrols by himself, and has started to be overly meticulous in his record-keeping. Coping mechanisms, friends.

CR you're looking for: I would love for Ignis to get some friends who can help him to loosen up a little. He's 22 years old and very rarely gets a chance to act his age. I'd also love some sparring partners, people who appreciate good coffee, and people who can handle a good snark-off without getting offended. Also, puns. Bring me puns.

About Them: Charles is his world's equivalent of a politician or royalty. He's the head of what was once a criminal syndicate, but is now one of seven organizations that rule a post-apocalyptic Chicago. He's ruthless when he needs to be, but he's also a huge softie, especially when it comes to kids and animals.
He can come across as crude or abrasive, but it's just a force of habit. He's capable of deeper emotions, but good luck getting to them. Tends to be really pragmatic.
His notable physical feature is his right eye, which is an opaque white and entirely blind.
Charles also has an info page with plenty more!

Notable CR: Charles is still sort of new, but he has budding cr with Ephemera, Kyna, Tinya, Pratt, and more but it's always hard for me to think of people and I'm in a hurry oops.

Current Plans: Charles is prey for the upcoming event. I'm up for any plans with that, but I'm not sure I want to murder him just yet. Not saying it's entirely out of the question, though. Otherwise he's just trying to convince people to go to the jungle planet.

About Them: Julie is twenty years old and something of a firecracker who hates being told what she can and can't do. She bucks against authority like it's an instinct and feels very strongly about a lot of things that she has very little experience in, as well as many things she's seen far too much of.

She does, however, come from a world where a zombie infection has pretty much destroyed organised/developed society, and barely remembers a time when it wasn't like that. While she projects an air of confidence, a little digging under it reveals a mess of hangups and a girl who really just wants to be herself without always feeling like she needs to match up to someone else's idea of what she ought to be.

As of her canon update her hair is cut up to her shoulders and she is missing the ring finger on her left hand.

Notable CR: Her closest CR is with Agent Washington, Pell and Tinya. She also has some fondness for Newt, as well as being acquainted with a few others around the city.

Current Plans: Julie is fresh off a canon update and, tbh, she's Really Mad. This is the second time Hadriel has pulled her back in and removed the guy she liked in short order, and she's just really, really tired of it. She doesn't have any plans, because most of her plans right now involve just sitting down and giving up entirely. I'm looking for something for her to get involved in, even if it's just to occupy her time and give her a bit of focus. She's something of a community leader in her canon at this point, and that's a thing I'd love to put to use.

CR you're looking for: Girl friends! Julie needs them. Also guy friends. Any friends. Julie canonly crosses generation gaps quite easily so age isn't an issue. 'Found family' is also a big goal for her. I'd like someone to involve her in something to pull her out of her current depression slump. Also... honestly? She needs someone to love her. Bring me a ship for this girl.

About Them: Poison didn't come into Hadriel straight from canon, but rather from the hellish horror of The Box where her ability to survive was tested almost every single day. She's a small girl, only 5'2", and wispy with long, dark hair and large violet eyes, but more than makes up for her stature with her strong personality. She is outspoken, blunt, honest and dislikes it intensely when people pretend to be something they're not (if you're a dick, that's fine, but don't try to act like you're anything else).

She enjoys writing and drawing, can cook and scavenge almost anything she needs, and learned several means of self-defence in her time in The Box. Poison is a bit of a loner and doesn't immediately tolerate others, but if you find a crack in her armour and slip through, you can find quite a different person underneath. Poison also has two cats - a small black cat, and a dark red octocat (think octopus, squishy, fluffy, looks vaguely like a cat with eight legs).

Notable CR: Poison has managed to, somehow, befriend Carlisle. At least to the point where he doesn't mind having her around too much. She is also aware of Glacius, Starscream and Knock Out from The Box, though none of them remember her. She set off on a good foot with Peter Parker, Alphys, Kate and Agent Washington, as well, and finds Ianchus confusing. Most of the people she knows have remained acquaintances by design.

Poison doesn't really 'hang out' with anyone, though, and by now her tendency to be alone has been going on long enough to be noticed.

Current Plans: She is mostly keeping to herself, and the general landscape of the game doesn't require her to do much more than that. Poison likes to spend time in the lab, learning what she can from the people there without making a mess, and she's often around in the gardens or out in the snow with her two cats. My ongoing, biggest plan for her is getting her to confront her PTSD from The Box in some significant way.

CR you're looking for: I'm looking for some friends for her. Poison's habit of holding people at arms length isn't really challenged in Hadriel because she can get along quite well without needing to rely on anyone, and the years she spent in Box have made it hard for her to let people get under her skin while her generally prickly nature pushes a lot of people away before they can make much headway with her.

A good 'in' with her is catching her drawing. Poison has a lot of practice and is now very good at it, and carries around a sketchbook with drawings of both Hadriel and Box residents inside.

About Them: Mogget appears (most of the time) to be a white cat, wearing a red collar with a small silver bell attached to it. Mogget is, in fact, a powerful creature of Free Magic, several thousand years old and one of the first beings in his home world which gained conscious thought. They were called the Nine Bright Shiners, and at that time Mogget was known as Yrael. Seven of the Nine sought to create, one pushed back against it, and Yrael chose to flee. For this, he was hunted down and captured by the Seven, bound into the form of Mogget and bound to the service of a line of humans known as the Abhorsens - one person in each generation who would take up the bells and guard the boundaries between Life and Death.

Perhaps understandably, Mogget was never thrilled about this.

The bell on his collar is Ranna, the Sleepbringer, and makes all those who hear it feel slightly sleepy. It makes Mogget himself sleepy all the time, or so he'd have you believe - he can still move very quickly when he wishes. He is a bluntly-spoken creature with little patience for nonsense.

Notable CR: He hasn't made any friends, because Mogget doesn't make friends, but he has been making himself known to various people around Hadriel including Kate, Alphys, Angus, Lup, Taako, and several others. He can often be found just in your house (yes, yours), leaving fur everywhere and demanding to be fed.

Current Plans: Mogget is, by personality at this point in his canon, not interested at all in getting involved with anything that the mortals/otherwise are trying to do around Hadriel. He is interested in finding warm places to sleep, and not too much else. Though he does spend a fair amount of time lurking around in the labs, out of curiosity, and just randomly appearing in people's homes because he's a cat and therefore anywhere he goes immediately belongs to him.

He isn't going to be affected by the event but it will prompt a little more interest in him about Hadriel in general. Mogget doesn't really understand the peculiar balance of power here (it doesn't make any sense to him at all). And with the Dog and Sabriel now gone, he's right back on his bullshit trying to see if anyone will be able to take off his collar.

CR you're looking for: He is looking for people who are talented in magic. If anyone thinks their character can make Mogget give a damn, I'm here for it. Otherwise, if anyone is interested in insanely powerful but entirely bound magical beings..?

About Them: Red Wine is a Food Soul from that confusing Food Fantasy game, and first impressions of him are that he's a vain, arrogant, haughty individual with next to no redeeming qualities. This is only partly true. He is vain, and proud, and tends towards framing his words in a way that leaves most things he says open to interpretation as an insult, but underneath all that he is surprisingly genuine and kind, willing to give any kind of help where it's needed. He's particularly kind to women (until such time as they show that they aren't deserving of it).

He is canonly incredibly handsome and looks a great deal like a vampire, with pale skin, red eyes and the classic pointed teeth as well as an aversion to sunlight and garlic, but he is not a vampire. His aversion to sunlight is because he dislikes being too warm, and he doesn't like anything that smells to strongly in general. He does have the ability to smell blood, and is able to evaluate a person's moral standing based on that scent. Basically, if you're a good person, you smell good. If you're a nasty, nasty murderer, you smell like a walking corpse. THERE IS A PERMISSIONS POST HERE FOR THIS PARTICULAR TALENT.

Notable CR: He currently has his canonmate Steak to fight and argue with to his hearts content, though they aren't really speaking at the moment. Red Wine is quite independent, and I'm still working on growing his CR.

Current Plans: Red Wine had some involvement in the capture of the first of the host creatures that prompted Hope's post about them, but since then hasn't been seen too much around the lab. Since the prisoner exchange he's been keeping his distance from most people in general, after the very unpleasant realisation that Hadriel could too easily manipulate him into becoming the monster he's always afraid he could turn into.

Eventually this will get teased out, but until then, he's just all hells of distracted.

CR you're looking for: The above does not make him easy to get new CR with at the moment! So for this guy I am basically looking for a few people to be patient enough to prod at him a bit. Whether it's asking him if he's a vampire or not, asking him why the hell he isn't cold or why he looks like he just walked out of a high-class Victorian party. Anything, really.

About Them: Finn is a soldier! That's kind of literally all that he's been. He was raised by the First Order (aka Empire 2.0 aka facist organization) to be one of those standard cannon fodder stormtroopers all hopped up on propaganda, only then they were like "well let's murder these disarmed civilians guys" and he: took a hard pass, freed a prisoner, stumbled his way into the main plot against his will alongside the other protagonist, and is now really die-hard for the Resistance. To keep it really short. He also spent a year in riverview, which was mostly a year of getting to feel out being his own person/developing CR/slice of life/etc. So it's been a big change rolling in here!

Finn is: compassionate, kind at heart, not great at socializing, stubborn, argumentative, ride or die for someone pretty much after 5 minutes, a very good soldier with a very bad poker face, and nigh constantly tense and keyed up about something. What exactly is he keyed up about right now??? He doesn't know, he just is. Maybe it's the life traumas he keeps sitting on instead of trying to address. There's more info in his app and an image-heavy post of tie-in novel material here that I do incorporate into my RP! Good heart, bad life experience, poor impulse control, and a tendency to default to considering himself disposable for the sake of [insert X here]. NO CHILL ALLOWED.

Notable CR: Poe Dameron for sure! We just got a Star Wars Rey accepted so she's definitely on the list. I think I'd consider Taako, George Lass, and Lucretia on the short list? And OC Rey!! They were exploration buddies! idk i'm bad at defining "notable," i love all cr.

Current Plans: Well the last half of February he was technically out on an exploration thing, which we're still working on! I'm planning to have him on the prey side of the upcoming event, but I think I'm calling my kick-Finn's-ass plans officially filled out.
