About Them: Gansey is polite, friendly, studious and curious. Beneath his smile hides a lot of anxiety that he is very invested in not letting anyone see. He loves magic and history, and any conflation between the two. If there is a Paranormal Thing, he will want to know about it, and also he's probably researched it a few dozen times. If you talk to him for long enough, he'll start to tell you about ley lines, quests and Welsh Kings, I'm very sorry in advance for this. His accent is Virginian, and his looks are Classically Handsome - think tall, broad shouldered, straight-nosed, hazel eyes, and a smile that's perfect when it's fake and crooked when it's true. His clothes are typically preppy: brightly coloured polo shirts, chinos and boat shoes. Also, he can't grow a beard to save himself.
Notable CR: He's basically living in the pockets of Ronan Lynch, Adam Parrish, Noah Czerny and Blue Sargent. They are his best friends from home, and Blue Sargent is also sort of his girlfriend. It's Complicated.
Current Plans: So, you know how I mentioned that Gansey doesn't like for people to see his anxiety? That's all going to go to hell in the dream event. He will be plagued by Fear's nightmares. Please come and enjoy the horror movie that is his head! Likely to feature: insects, so many insects, gaping chasms that try to swallow him whole, extreme darkness, suffocation, and more fun like this. Basically there was a time in his life when Gansey used to wake up at night screaming, and this will be my interpretation of why. I can't wait!
CR you're looking for: Gansey typically seeks out positive CR. He's polite and friendly to a fault, although his foot has a habit of finding its way into his mouth at the worst possible times. Few things will make him actually try to offend anyone (although upsetting his friends is on that list), but he tends to manage it anyway. So, basically! Positive or negative CR, I'm here for it all. He will particularly get along with characters who are a little bit weird, and/or who are interested by magic, research or history. Violence is a big turn-off for him, and he'll peacemake between people where he can. He also has a tendency to involve himself where he's not needed, especially when he cares about someone involved, and he can be very controlling when he thinks he's trying to help you.
