• Cliff is a brand and shiny new 16 that can't drive because the Driver's Ed class was full at school and he's humanly incapable of asking someone to teach him.
• He's 5'9" and he's pretty much never going to get taller than that, which is weird because his wolf is freaking huge.
• He's an Animal Person, not a werewolf, which means he has a human and wolf body at the same time and can choose to switch between them at will.
• His name is Clifford and he turns into a Big Red Dog. Yeah, I know.
• He's also AFRAID OF DOGS, I am not making this up, this is real.
• He has a tongue stud that stays when he turns into a wolf so he's a wolf with a tongue stud basically.
• He really, really doesn't like to be touched. Like, at all.
• He has a younger adopted brother named Kevin that he actually gets along pretty well with, considering it's Cliff.
• He has a crush on a girl at school and honestly the less said about that the better it's not going well.
• The hoodie he wears everywhere isn't actually his, he borrowed it from Oscar and never gave it back.
• The only card game he knows how to play is Go Fish and he mostly plays with ghosts. Well, one ghost.
• He'll fight anybody.
• He's also incapable of actually admitting that he's friends with anyone, but if he actively chooses to spend time with someone it's as good a sign as any really. Even if he bitches the entire time.
• He really loves BBQ, he'll eat it any chance he gets.
• He's terrified of being seen as a Monster because of his wolf, which is the biggest reason he's rude and unfriendly with people to begin with.
• He's terrible about older male influences, and far more likely to listen or chill out for older female influences.
He'll talk loud and act like he doesn't give a shit about anything, but when it comes down to it he'll protect people if he can, even if "turning into a wolf at it" only works like 50% of the time in any given situation.

fav food is absolutely bbq ribs, hands down


and no, he hasn't really. he's been able to turn into a wolf since he was really young, before werewolf was actually a word he would even recognize. and after, what little bits of lore that pretty much everyone manages to pick up from movies and comics or whatever was enough for him to realize that very little of it actually applied to him (silver, full moon, etc).

unfortunately while werewolves are incredibly accessible in the wider media, the concept of animal people really isn't, and he's honestly not a studious enough kid to do the kind of effort it would take to track that sort of information down. the wolf comes from his dad anyway, who he's never actually met, so honestly he can't really be blamed for being a bit in the dark about his heritage in this case.

werewolf works for him for now. he'll learn what he actually is soon enough.

lmao wow i missed the second question, whoops. yes, he HAS had alcohol before. since he's definitely too young to be buying it himself, he mostly drinks when he's hanging out with other "hooligans" like himself or if he manages to steal them from a well meaning dude like oscar.

cliff doesn't consider any of the other like minded miscreants that he ditches class or smokes/drinks with friends, he doesn't even know most of their names honestly. one of them regularly calls him "clint" so the same probably goes for them too.
