CHARACTER
Character Name: Ignis Scientia
Canon: Final Fantasy XV

About Them: An intelligent, practical person who sometimes takes himself too seriously and sometimes has trouble reading the humour of other people. Ignis is young but a well-trained fighter, as well as a proficient chef. He is highly intelligent and knows it, has a dry/sarcastic sense of humour and a tendency to gloat when he's proven right, but is an all-around decent guy and someone who is good to have as a friend - unfailingly loyal and always willing to supply a fantastic meal.

These days, knowing things that will happen in the future that he certainly shouldn't know, he has a lot on his mind at all times (which he is trying to ignore). His natural reaction to this is to throw himself into work/anything to keep his mind off things. His ability to compartmentalise is being sorely challenged these days, so if you want to wind him up just to see his temper snap, now's a good time.
Notable CR: His girlfriend Kate are best friend Noctis are his closest CR, as well as having built/in the process of building some good friendships with the likes of Maglor, Curufin and several members of the Guard including Nick, Cecily and Henry.
Current Plans: At the moment he's working with Curufin on an idea he had and the elf ran with - building docks on the islands to allow easier access for boats. It's ended up being a bigger project than he expected so between that, the Guard, and other things he does with his time he is a busy young man and can pretty much be found anywhere conveniently.

He will be very curious about the Null plot, not least because of Kate's involvement in it but very much because of his own inquisitiveness - actually getting to the bottom of something in this place is too good an opportunity to pass up.
CR you're looking for: Smart people he can be clever with, people who love puns, friends, frenemies, enemies?? Anyone.

Practicality and dry humor buds, maybe?? I don't know how CR would go down with them but that seems likely. Regardless, I'd be super stoked to have CR with Ignis (and possibly your other characters too)!

An excellent type of bud. I think right now I'm mostly getting him settled and introduced to the setting, trying not to die by Kabutops and getting some injuries checked at the clinic. Other things on the agenda are probably finding some kind of housing (preferably near his castmate, if it's possible? but he's not on the housing list right now so I gotta ask about that oops) and and finding some kind of work or skill for him to pick up.

I'd be happy to have him run into one of your peoples at a place they usually frequent or anything special they've got going on this month, but I'm honestly down for anything \o/

I am possibly/probably gonna put up some kind of open log thing w/ some open top levels tomorrow evening, so maybe that would be good?

Character Name: Julie Bastet Grigio Cabernet
Canon: Warm Bodies

About Them: Julie is nineteen/twenty years old and something of a firecracker who hates being told what she can and can't do. She bucks against authority like it's an instinct and feels very strongly about a lot of things that she has very little experience in... like most people her age. She does, however, come from a world where a zombie infection has pretty much destroyed organised/developed society, but remembers a time when it wasn't like that. While she projects an air of confidence, a little digging under it reveals a mess of hangups and a girl who really just wants to be herself without always feeling like she needs to match up to someone else's idea of what she ought to be.

She holds a lot of anger inside herself, mostly directed at unfair her life has been for more or less her entire teenage years. At the moment she's really struggling with some severe feelings of worthlessness.
Notable CR: Julie has a small circle of close friends, most of whom don't know each other. Delmar and her boyfriend Whistler are definitely the first people she thinks of in times of crisis, and she's also reasonably close to Agent Washington and George Lass along with some good CR with the likes of Serah, Pell and several others. She opens up on a surface level very easily, but it takes a bit longer to actually get to know her.
Current Plans: Julie came back from a canon update last month and hasn't really been handling what happened back home very well. But when you see your father basically commit suicide by zombie right in front of you... that's going to mess anybody up. She hasn't cried over it yet... but she's going to.
Said canon update has also made her doubt her knee-jerk reaction towards Name and though she still doesn't like the thing or trust it, she's going to try to talk to it at some point to ask it a few questions.
I don't really have any solid plans with her at the moment, but I'm open!
CR you're looking for: She really needs to just smoke a joint. Honestly. Aside from that, though, I'm always up for people that she can relate to, people who can teach her a skill and anyone who can make her feel like she's actually useful. If anyone needs someone to take them under their wing, Julie's good for it.

Canon: Horizon: Zero Dawn

About Them: Nil is... complicated. He is charming and charismatic and quite easy to like... until he starts talking about death and how much he enjoys killing people/animals/anything with a heartbeat, then you start getting the idea of just how much of a peculiar man he actually is. He's of indeterminate age, Nil is not his real name, and you're unlikely to find out what either of those facts actually are at any point in your acquaintance with him.

This man is an ex-soldier and a thrill-seeker to an extreme degree. He has very little regard for his own life - to make it clear, he isn't suicidal, he just doesn't particularly seem to care if he dies as long as it's against a worthy foe. He is definitely dangerous, but he also understands consequences and isn't going to be committing random murders.
Notable CR: Nil doesn't exactly 'hang out' with anyone, but there are people he occasionally seeks out the company of. The main person holding that honour is Aloy, the poor woman, and given Nil's tendency to weird people out there isn't really anyone else at the moment. Maybe Serah.
Current Plans: Nil, while not exactly bored, is quite restless. He's been hunting around the coliseum and having a hell of a time since the last influx of newbies, so if you happen to see any dead creatures with arrows stuck in them, it was probably him. He may unintentionally save people while he's doing this, but he honestly isn't doing it on purpose.
I'm after Nil finding something to focus on - something to actually care about. The Null aren't a current threat, though he's going to be curious about what's going on once it all kicks off - since he doesn't really use his phone at all, he misses out on a lot of what goes on over the network.
CR you're looking for: Nil can be difficult to maintain CR with simply because he tends to frighten people off. What he really needs, as said above, is something/someone to actually give a damn about.

Canon: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys

About Them: Jet is one of the Fabulous Four, of which the other members are Party Poison, Fun Ghoul and Kobra Kid. You might expect that to mean he'll be just as wild as they are, but that would be where you're wrong. Jet Star is calm, level-tempered and undoubtedly the one who keeps them all together even when everything is falling apart. He's the one they rely on to remain sensible, and even though he usually gets swept up into Party's plans he's always the one trying to keep things from getting too crazy.

Unless the situation calls for crazy.

Just before arriving, Jet died. Not long before that, he was in a shootout in the desert. Because of the latter, he was wearing an eye patch when he arrived. He now isn't, but the eye he was wearing it over looks like someone pressed a hot poker across the skin and the eye, while not entirely blind, is definitely damaged.
Notable CR: His most notable CR at the moment is still his cast, comprised of Party Poison, Fun Ghoul and the Girl. He's chatted with a few other people, and has grown friendly with Delmar, as well as George Lass in the last event. There have also been a couple of good conversations with Sansa, and he has a healthy respect for her and Daenerys.
Current Plans: Jet's more settled in the place now, and though he's not going to be really involved with the Null plot there are some things closer to home that he's going to have to deal with. When Party Poison sets a fire in one of the temples, a definite rift is going to form between their respective mindsets.
It's very easy to believe Jet's fine, he tends to put others first and focus on what's wrong with them, but he hasn't really done too much thinking about being dead and what that means. It's all going to come out and hopefully he'll come out better for it.
CR you're looking for: Chill friends to be chill with. Anyone who has beef with his friends and needs an apology for their shitty behaviour.

poison.

Character Name: Poison
Canon: Poison (+Box CRAU)

About Them: Poison didn't come into Hadriel straight from canon, but rather from the hellish horror of The Box where her ability to survive was tested almost every single day. She's a small girl, only 5'2", and wispy with long, dark hair and large violet eyes, but more than makes up for her stature with her strong personality. She is outspoken, blunt, honest and dislikes it intensely when people pretend to be something they're not (if you're a dick, that's fine, but don't try to act like you're anything else).

She enjoys writing and drawing, can cook and scavenge almost anything she needs, and learned several means of self-defence in her time in The Box. Poison is a bit of a loner and doesn't immediately tolerate others, but if you find a crack in her armour and slip through, you can find quite a different person underneath. Poison also has two cats - a small black cat, and a dark red octocat (think octopus, squishy, fluffy, looks vaguely like a cat with eight legs).
Notable CR: Poison's still trying to work this place out, but she struck up a good first acquaintance with Fun Ghoul and has re-met Glacius and the Girl, both of whom she remembers from her time in The Box. Sadly, they don't remember her.
Current Plans: Poison is going to want to talk to Name because the way it's defected from the Null reminds her of the occasional Technician who would occasionally end up with the Box residents, being subjected to the same horrors that they were. She's suspicious, but it isn't something that she's a stranger to. She may try getting involved with the Door hunt when it gets going, but it depends how far she gets with quizzing Name and figuring out who is involved with it all.
CR you're looking for: ANYTHING AT THE MOMENT!! Poison is a prickly young lady with a heart of gold and I want to just throw her at everyone.
