A sweet center wrapped in a ball of dark chocolatey angst wrapped in a ball of more marshmallowy sweetness and dusted with some macabre. He's the type of person who likes to ignore his own problems/cheer himself up by making others happy and getting involved with people, so he's always willing to give a helping hand. Or, you know, overindulgence. That works, too.

He's a black sheep prince whose entire family died in a coup while he was away, and while he definitely feels survivor's guilt, he spent a lot of time fighting from being made the king as the last survivor. Extenuating circumstances freed him from that particular fate, and he's kind of been working on having a better outlook. To mixed results. Just think of him as a cross between Anastasia Romanov and Edward VIII.

Notable CR: He's basically taken Yusuke under his wing, and adores him. Gets along with Curufin, Avisheh, Floki, and others! He's very open to talking to people and loves being social. Was killed by Caedra and is absolutely ornery about it. Banged a lot of people at his banging party (would be up for a sequel with all of them)

Current Plans: Ianchus has no opinion on the Name/Door thing, but might help out people he cares about. Between being killed by Caedra, falling into a dream where he believed his family and lover were still alive in Carrah, and then returning to Hadriel and realizing that that hadn't been real, he's been kind of depressed. I have a catch-all for this month where he's skulking around here.

Also involved with Curufin's pier project, and is offering himself up as crew on Law's ship. Please give him a job, let him solve your problems, he's bad at solving his own.

CR you're looking for: Honestly I've been looking for someone he can spill his guts to over his past and maybe his feelings on it, but it's very hard to get him to that point. Also would love to see him with more royalty/nobles, especially the cynical kind! He loves being kind of catty.
Also anyone he can cut loose and make bad decisions with.

Anything else would be great too, though! He adores people and is generally up for anything. (Negative CR is great too, of course, but a lot of things tend to roll off his back)

I'm going to hit up that post of Ianchus' soonish because I need this CR. Carlisle isn't royalty, but he's definitely upper-class in terms of his world, and can be super catty. And they can argue about why on earth you would make such bad decisions.

OH MY GOD YES COME HERE. I've been wanting more CR with Carlisle FOREVER, I feel like they'd just take the piss out of each other a lot which seems amazing. I'd LOVE to see where their CR would go since I feel like it could go interesting places...?

Ianchus can actually be a bit of a bitch to most royalty/nobility but there are A FEW where he's like OH HUH YOU'RE...OKAY but yeah the cattier and more self-aware they are the better

ALSO CARLISLE KIND OF REMINDS HIM OF HIS DEAD BROTHER though not in an angsty way, SO UH he just wants to tease him
