Dany has been in Hadriel for enough time to be sour about having been here for so long, and she misses her three "children" (dragons) and very much wants to go back to her world in order to conquer the Seven Kingdoms. She can be impulsive and emotional, but she fiercely defends the people and things that she cares about.
Notable CR: Margarey Tyrell, Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Sonya Blade, Nathan Drake, though she's always hesitant to trust people and therefore has a harder time ~making friends~
Current Plans: Boating was significant for Dany! She learned to fish, had weird bonding with Jon, and they came across an island. As for future plans, I'd mainly like to get some new CR developed, whether that be positive or negative!

About Them: No longer dying from a bad hand, Cecily spent the deserted event guarding the island (i.e., not going out in the boats), mourning another lost castmate, and celebrating (quietly) the arrival, again, of her best friend. She met some new people during the deserted event, but the whole thing shook her up considerably, since she thought for more than a second that she'd been left behind in this foreign world.
Notable CR: Sharon, Taako, Lup, Laura, Cole
Current Plans: She'll be going for a canon update soon to the end of her current canon, which will lose her an arm and reassure her that she isn't, in fact, going to die. In Hadriel, she'll have to then adapt to the life of a one-armed archer, which will be challenging, to say the least...

Notable CR: This is her 2nd trip to Hadriel but without the memories of her first trip. Right now, she's mostly in the company of Curufin and the fleet that are at sea collecting artifacts.

About Them: Daryl has just started down the road to the major character changes he goes through when he suddenly finds people relying on him and finally begins to develop positive human connections (the great thing about this is I could see his canon progress being imitated by his game development, as he will be going through ‘similar’ life changes that will coincide well with his canon updates).

Previously an angry, violently explosive, transient, racist loner, all thanks to the way he was raised, Daryl has just started to calm down and begin navigating the social role he develops when he’s part of a group. All of his outer grouchy, hardass shell is hiding a deep well of sensitivity, compassion, and the need to belong to a ‘family’ that cares about him, but he’s been under the impression for his entire life that those parts of his personality make him weak and should be reviled, so he’s not comfortable showing them. Definitely the strong silent type (except when he’s being a jerk), Daryl is a natural and instinctive protector since it’s the easiest way for him to show his compassion for others while still being actively violent and brutal. He’s adaptive and knows how to survive no matter what situation he finds himself in, and much like his older brother, “if you feed him a hammer he’d crap out nails” – unless you feed him an emotional hammer, in which case he’ll just cry a lot, sensitive bastard that he is. He has a lot of self-hate getting in his way and is a better follower than a leader, but the rest of his info can be found here if you’d like to read about this trainwreck of a man.

Daryl also suffered from extreme abuse and neglect growing up that has greatly shaped how damaged and emotionally closed-off he is, so please please let me know if this is not something you want to engage with and I’ll either do my best to write around explicit mentions of it (and no hard feelings if you want to sidestep Daryl completely! He is definitely not the easy-fun type unless killing a bunch of monsters together is your jam).

Notable CR: Brand new, although Jesse was the first interaction he's had that's stuck (from the TDM, they had a hilarious argument about whether zombies are real and Jesse settled on the conclusion that Daryl is just high as shit) and they’ll be rooming in a (hopefully ridiculous) house together. Get ready for the clash.

Current Plans: No big plans beyond settling in and braving the storm! (Well actually, the Love event promises to be very interesting for this closed-off s.o.b., so that actually might be a great time to make real connections with Daryl!) While he will have some difficulty coming to terms with the fact that he’s on an alien fucking planet with gods fucking about, he also comes from a world with a zombie apocalypse going on and believes he saw a chupacabra even before the end of the world, so he’ll be able to accept what he sees as he sees it. He’s action-based though, so if you tell him ridiculous things he’ll probably just scoff until he runs into the 12-foot monster you just told him about. Whoops.

CR you're looking for: SO MANY SPECIFIC REQUESTS! Daryl grew up without the typical, nurturing family dynamic he hasn’t realized he’s always been craving, so characters/CR that fit into the following categories are very deeply desired (extended from his permissions post, which is a must-read for playing with Daryl comfortably) —
→ an older brother-figure [Rick] someone good and lawful and inspiring to look up to in place of what Merle gave him, someone who makes him a better person by living the example.
→ a mother-figure [Carol] someone who he can work to make proud of him in a way he was never given the opportunity to as a child, but who still provides unconditional love and understanding no matter how often he tries and fails to do so.
→ a father-figure [Hershel] someone old and wise and kind, who seems to understand the world in a way Daryl can only aspire to, whom he trusts has only the best in his heart for the world and everyone in it.
→ a sister-figure [Beth] someone who can occasionally bring out the worst in him but whose goodness and gentleness he’s determined to protect and help maintain, no matter what the world throws at her.
→ a nephew/younger brother [Carl] someone whose inner bravery and hardness he notices is similar to his own at that age, which he both wants to nurture the positives of while keeping him from becoming just as broken as Daryl.

If your character fits into none of these roles, no problem! Daryl thrives as part of a group (or more accurately, he does moderately well with others and prefers to stay on the edges of it) and is desperately in need of friends, love, affection and understanding, even if he fights it.

Sdsfkgsd yes please, come to your much grouchier, less witty, less intelligent Tony Stark. Believe it or not, I'm pretty canonblind to most of the MCU but I've absorbed a lot through, y'know, living in the world we're in, so I'd love this. Part of the nephew dynamic is the fact that Daryl also respects your character's ability to look after himself despite constantly getting himself into trouble, so this would work perfectly! Now I just have to brainstorm the best way to throw them together. Hm.

Ianchus is pretty good at the whole "unconditional love and support" thing, even/especially for closed-off types. Also heeyyyy self-hating protector buddies~~

YES PLEASE BE HIS CAROL-TYPE, he is sorely going to need it, especially as his canon updates come through in the future and he gets sadder and sadder about failing the ones he loves. The fact that Ianchus is also a self-hating protector-type will only make this work better because folks that have a bit of Daryl's life experience/behave sort of like he does tend to be able to take one look at him and recognize the shit he's been through and how much he needs emotional maintenance.

I'm trying to think of a way to scene them where Daryl isn't just a closed-off jerk, I'll get back to you on that! Probably during the Love event when he's all out of sorts, methinks?

And ignore the male pronouns. ^^The books were written in the 80's and since the wraeththu characters were once male instead of now hermaphroditic, they have a tendency to use the male pronouns they were born with. AKA they've adapted rather poorly and all them first generation are kind of crazy.

I'm also up for this!! Daryl needs someone to mother him and basically teach him how to accept someone caring about him, so all parties are welcome. Anyone that can see themselves in Daryl will probably have a very easy time reading him and guessing at what his issues are.

He'll be pretty flabbergasted by Seel's androgynous look though, and probably say some really stupid shit at first. I play Daryl as having some complex issues with his sexuality so there's a good chance he might take it out on Seel at first just because they look different. If they endure it and like him anyway they'll have his eternal lowkey affection though.

About Them: Sonya is a Special Forces army officer, and one of the few warriors deemed worthy by the gods to defend Earthrealm. She's survived the death-match martial tournament, being trapped in an enemy realm, and is one of the few Chosen warriors who survived after the end of the Outworld invasion. Thanks to these experiences, she's not the easiest or warmest people to get along with, but she doesn't go entirely out of her way to push people away either; more, she's;s pragmatic and prefers to keep a professional demeanor. Having very view friends outside the force, those she does keep in contact with are almost treated like family; any loss or pain they feel, she takes it on herself and does what she can to try and offer relief-or at the very least will ask who's ass she needs to kick.

Though never outright in canon, there are hints that Sonya's developed Survivors Guilt after the Outworld invasion, taking the form of vivid nightmares, insomnia, stress headaches and the constant guilt of wondering why she was one of the few lucky ones. Years in the military will mean she rarely speaks of her traumas, seeing it as pointless, and almost a weakness.

A member of the special forces, Sonya's seen her fair share of combat (and loss), and earned a number of physical scars in the process. Her right leg is covered in old burn scars from an ambush in a raid, while her left shoulder bears both an old stab wound (once more a lucky shot) as well as what look like laser burns from those who know what to look for. Most of Sonya's clothing is in the form of pants and shirts with sleeves, so unless she's dressing up or down for something, it's unlikely they'll be in plain view.

Current Plans:
On a boat with Floki and the others, searching and exploring the islands. She's going to take a small 'self imposed' break once they return, and hopefully some extended CR afterwards.

CR you're looking for: Guardsmen, other military, people used to dealing with other-world forces. She needs actual friends/people to bond with..possible a near-casual relationship?

With Henry Percy gone, she needs another instructor to teach her the sword and shield. Also hobbies, Sonya at some point needs to learn it's okay to enjoy things outside of combat.

For various reasons (mostly some factors up in the air, partly that I've been sick this week and just hiatused just in case) I didn't post this time around, but I've been keeping Sonya in mind as someone to do something with and do need to apologize for my on/off flakiness. I have a thread from last month to pick up, but after that, and once I'm doing a little more, I'd totally be up for Mr I Can Kick Three People's Asses At Once to help her with sword stuff!

About Them: Elven warrior-prince, adventurer, older brother, nice guy, accidentally Doomed, occasional bringer of musical instruments on supposedly secret rescue missions. Not actually sensible, but good candidate for Only Sane Dude at family reunions because the standards are so very low. Likes include archery, horses, music, and ridiculously elaborate hairstyles. Very anti-blizzards and Balrogs.
Notable CR: Fingon’s closest CR is with his cousins, Maglor and Curufin, and with the effectively adopted Sansa Stark.
Current Plans: Fingon is currently On a Boat, scheduled to return just in time for Love’s Event. As the anniversary of his marriage also falls during the event and his spouse recently disappeared, Fingon’s not going to be particularly happy with Love- so if anyone wants a partner in griping about whole business here’s your elf.
CR you're looking for: Anything and everything; he's usually a fairly friendly person and would try to be decent to anyone. With that said, Fingon's probably best for archers and other types of warriors, musicians, and people who can withstand a bit more of the Tolkein Elfyness aesthetic.

Additional Info: I live in PST and mostly tag at nights since I work the day shift. Usually, I'm off Sundays and Mondays, so I'm around a little bit more for tagging on those days. I get chronic migraines, so if I have one of those, I'm out of it for a day or two, so if I'm not active or tagging, that's usually why.

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Leo Flynn

About Them: A self-righteous Sunai monster that looks human, but is anything but. In order to live, he's got to eat the souls of sinners, which he can do by playing a song with any instrument. But unlike his siblings, he seems to try and go through life by doing it in the worst way possible and pissing everyone off around him. He is actually trying to get better at empathizing with people, but it's kind of hard, since what humanity he has literally has been burnt out of his system. That being said, he's not the worst person to be around so long as you're not a sinner, and occasionally can get past being a stick in the mud, and try to have some fun.

There's a few things that don't translate well using a PB, so I'll include them here. He's got black, tattoo-like crosses on his left arm that go all the way up almost to the shoulder and a scar that goes through his left eyebrow. Some might notice it's the only scar he has on him anywhere. He's ridiculously good-looking, it's a canon thing. Sunai are pretty since they're predators and it attracts their prey more easily. If he's transformed into his true form or the character can sense or see he has a different form, it'll look like this.
Notable CR: Lives with Seth and Margo, who he considers family. Seems destined to make friends with the worst sort of people like Caedra and Starscream. (He's a very bad judge of character and a hypocrite, y'all. Save him from himself.) Just killed Abigail during the last event, but he actually was really sympathetic for her motivations to do so, and likes her better for it. Has the attention of the Taaco twins. (God help him.) Everyone else he seems to either be pissing off or they tolerate him for some weird reason. No in-between. (Did I miss anyone? I feel like I missed someone)
Current Plans: Well, he finally made his first kill in the game, so yay! Or should that be yay? Anyway, he killed Abigail, and is not going to be feeling bad about it anytime soon, since he sees it at best a righteous action and at absolute worst a mercy kill. If your character finds out and would like to call him out/ask why/high-five him, whatever, I'm down for it! Other than that, he's mainly been keeping to himself since he hates water, and of course is now surrounded by the stuff.
CR you're looking for: Friends, enemies, people he really shouldn't be hanging around, people who he might eventually kill by stealing their souls.....I'm down for anything really!

So Angus definitely would have found out about Abigail, and he would've run off with Peanut the second he thought the literal only other dude in Hadriel at the time was a killer. It'd be interesting to have them bounce off each other again post-murdertimes, since he'll have a lot of questions!

I kind of like the idea (that I think we talked about briefly? did we? or did I imagine it?) that during the course of meeting Leo/knowing him/knowing what he is and what he does, Daryl is made to realize that he's not as much of a bad guy as he considers himself is Leo isn't turning him into a snack like he did an adorably innocent-looking teenage girl. Daryl will be very confused for eternity.

About Them: Hadriel's resident wandering prince with a heart of gold, a tongue of silver and a dick of brass. Info/permissions here!
Always a bit of a black sheep, Ianchus is the type to aggressively push forward toward the future. Almost saccharine sweet, but not without his edge, he'll basically befriend anyone. He just got out of a really dark few months, so emotionally he's on an upswing.

Notable CR: He's close friend with Yusuke, and their bond's become stronger recently. Other people he's been getting close to include Edgar, Atem, and Drake. He also considers Carlisle a friend, though the latter may not...return...that sentiment
He was murdered and then later gravely injured by Caedra, and she's the one person in Hadriel that he truly hates.

Current Plans: No concrete plans for this month, but he'll probably be out to help people during the storm event and ABSOLUTELY WILL BE UP FOR CUDDLES DURING THE CUDDLE EVENT.
