Also at some point he should learn how to defend himself, but this will take a little bit of convincing, maybe, since he hates violence. He'll acknowledge he has to learn some kind of self defense but it'll just make him apprehensive as heck, so someone convince him!

OH OH, Daryl totally volunteers, this is kind of his thing. Also, all the awkward friendship still we talked about, Daryl needs serious help.

Okay but Daryl trying to help Sal physically protect himself while Sal tries to help Daryl emotionally protect himself (in a HEALTHY way!!!) it's the circle of life and I'm down for it.

The trick will just be planning/jumping into a scene where Daryl feels as though he has to take on the responsibility of keeping Kelson safe, probably because it's a moment when no one else is doing it, and after it's happened once it'll all be downhill from there, boys...

Carlisle needs to come talk to Lance at some point now that he's all super grey! Also, Nick could stand to chat with the guy now that he's the only one in charge of the Guard and is super unsure about it.

Yeeeeeeees Carlisle let Lance fuss over you and also yeah poor Nick. If it'll make him feel any better, Lance might let him know that, although he can't speak for anyone else, he personally feels so much more confident in the Guard as a whole with Nick in charge. :c

Still so very down with building a grudgingly respectful-type relationship on Daryl's part that has the potential to go VERY south at any second! At Daryl's current canon point he's not only a proficient walker-killer but is also still pretty convinced it's best to immediately kill living, otherwise healthy people that have just been bitten to keep himself and others safe, considering them to be mercy killings (even though he hasn't had the chance yet, wait for that canon update when he volunteers to take on the responsibility of killing an already-bitten-and-dying friend), so whooboy.

Also what is this chatter about a zombie event and how can Daryl get in on it??

She's....slightly more equipped to handle extreme PTSD than the average orc? One of her mentors in canon is going senile but has not lost any of his shaman abilities. On top of being blind and full of suppressed trauma. Things are on fire a lot.

YES PLEASE, that sounds amazing. I've only seen the first few seasons of TWD but there's a huge difference in the nature of zombies between the canons that if Daryl knows Drake long enough will be obvious. Getting scratched isn't a death sentence by any means, it sucks trying to stay fed and dealing with the personality shifts but zombiedom will save a life and it can and has been successfully cured. In TWD everyone is infected but you don't come back a walker until you die, right? A bite just expedites death through septicemia or something? Drake never died and is holding out for a cure.

It was you and Jill were you just suggesting them as a Door monster? :o Either way Drake will be freaked.
