1. I am a very good dancer. My fellow warriors and I all watched team dance-off competitions and practiced together after training.

2. After learning what it was, I destroyed my stove upon moving into one of the housing units here.

3. I absolutely detest spiders.

What kind of dancing? ( She's already guessed that 2 would be true, you know, being that Glacius is made of ice. But one and three... )

Synchronized dancing, coordinated with either one other person, or a group. We studied all types, depending on what was being shown at the Cluster Games that season. During the most recent event, my people took the competition with a syncopated dance, which was something I had not seen much of before then.

You going to demonstrate? ( what better way to test if it's true. )

I... suppose I could. I may be a little rusty, though; I have not had much time to practice ever since I got involved with you humans. What sort of dance shall I perform for you?

( HMM ) What about that dance you won with?

I can imagine neither you, nor Algidus as enjoying dancing.

[glacius]

Oh, really? How else were a group of hard-worked warriors supposed to have a little bit of fun in their shared down time? It was good stress relief.

I suppose that is true. And you seem more, er. Prone to recreation than Algidus, admittedly.

I can't speak for Algidus; I didn't train with him. I can only speak for myself. And right now I am speaking truth.

And your people don't lie. Or aren't keen on it, as you've said.

[Chris has no trouble believing 2, especially since the appliances here are finicky and therefore potentially dangerous anyway, but the other two are more questionable. Considering he remembers how Glacius dealt with the wendigo in their shared dream--]

It's uh, kind of tough to imagine you being scared of spiders.

I didn't say I was scared of them. I said I detest them! There is a difference!! [That was a... more sensitive reaction than most people usually get. Perhaps there is some truth to that one..?]

[Okay wow. Yeah, Chris is starting to think there's some major truth there, especially if he's being touchy about wording.]

Um, okay, noted. I mean, there's no shame in not liking spiders for... Whatever reason.

They serve a dark master. Always watching you with their many eyes, relaying information to her... [He... may also have a major misconception about what spiders actually are. All he knows is that he encountered them in the cave that a once-human assassin that he was tracking used as a hideout, so he actually thinks that they are her servants in some capacity.] Her actions callously risked the life of everyone on earth. I would spurn anyone or anything who allied themselves with her. So no, I am not ashamed of it.

I'm gonna uh... Assume that the spiders you encountered in your world or your universe's Earth or whatever are... Really different from the spiders I'm thinking of.

Ahhh, then your intuition has served you well! It is good to know that not everyone assumes I would destroy property with such little provocation. I was beginning to grow concerned.

It seemed a little too dramatic for you. [ She says with a shrug. ] And I doubt something like that stove could hurt you. Right?

I mean... not unless I laid face down on it while it was on, or something... which I don't plan on doing. So.

So you're safe. [ And she'd gotten the game right, which is fun. ] I wouldn't suggest you lie on a stove, either. I'm glad to hear it won't be happening anytime soon.

I really don't see you as the type to destroy appliances. Or anything that isn't a threat.

Thank you! Everyone else thought that was true. I was beginning to become concerned about their perception of me.
