About Them: Fear threw open the Door and now you're all here, which is very convenient for him, as he gains power through terrorizing you guys. But come on, we're all friends here, right? As far as his actual personality, he's pretty laidback and growing more curious about how your worlds work and the types of places you come from. He hasn't really interacted with humans before, so it's kind of a fun learning experience, even if ultimately he's pretty okay with bringing you all to the brink of death so that you'll be appropriately terrified. In addition, he regularly opposes Hope in his bids for power, though it's a little unclear so far where he stands with Rage.
Current Plans: Well, he's about to bury you guys alive for a few days. That's gonna be fun.

About Them: Teenage boy with PTSD. Intelligent, ambitious, stubborn, quiet, clings to what pride he has. Wary of strangers and also pretty much everything, but generally polite regardless. Good at planning, logical thinking, and not dealing with his own issues. Definitely has a temper hidden under those good manners. Also, he has a magical forest in his head, hallucinates a lot, and can sometimes sense magic, scry for stuff, and do eerily accurate tarot readings. He can't really fight, though, and therefore will not be saving anyone from monsters anytime soon.
Notable CR: Ronan and Noah, the other raven boys, except he and Ronan are currently fighting and Noah is a ghost and gone most of the time so... Adam's been spending a lot of time alone. Other than that, he considers Arya a friend (look, it's hard to get to those lofty heights, ok), and is at least friendly with Lloyd, Z, Bruce, Rainier, and a few other folks. Mostly he's been keeping to himself since Gansey left, though.
Current Plans: Moping? BEING SAD? FIGHTING WITH HIS FRIENDS?? Occupying himself with tasks to avoid dealing with the shitty stuff, actually. Adam can often be found exploring, scavenging in the shops, helping at the clinic, or at home feeding Ronan's bird while Ronan does stupid stuff. He's also been taking some self-defense lessons from Rainier.
CR you're looking for: Well, Adam always needs more friends, because he's so shitty at making them. Anyone willing to try to stick it out past the polite wariness is always welcome! Adam is a good friend who will do things like fix your car for you and help you frame a man for murder. I'm always happy to give negative CR a try, but it's difficult with him because he'll just avoid people he doesn't like. He really needs people he can trust, though, so I'm more interested in friendly/positive stuff right now!

About Them: Deadpan cyborg woman thing with mondo identity and memory issues. She has an aversion to wearing sleeves and also a penchant for setting shit on fire. First impressions have her talking and acting like a dumb robot who doesn't understand how to human, but she really gets more than she lets on. It does take a while for her to warm up to someone, and start to act more human-like (even saying that damned elusive "I" word).

Notable CR: No one, right now. She's a loner who's probably going to be living in her own little apartment for a while. It'll take her some time before she starts actually warming up to anyone, but I'd like for that to happen.

Current Plans: For the upcoming plot Rey is going to be topside, and considering how freaking awful being buried alive is she'll probably try and help dig someone out. (She actually cares more than she lets people know, hah.)

CR you're looking for: I love positive and negative CR, or positive that turns negative or negative that turns positive! More particularly any soldier/military/combatant CR with be aces. Any synthetics/robots would be awesome, but forewarning she is going to be initially very wary of those types, so if you don't mind a little negative starting out, I would love to play it out myself! Otherwise I'm open for anything.

About Them: Ronan pretty much despises like 90% of the people he meets. He's short spoken and blunt, he has a mountain of anger issues and some intense PTSD, and his hobbies include drinking, punching people, and fast cars. On the flipside, he's almost never lies, has an intensely strong loyalty to the people he does get close to, and he can transfer things from his dreams into reality, making him the one-stop-shop for literally any item you can imagine, though that's definitely not common knowledge. He also has a raven that follows him around because he's a special snowflake.
Notable CR: Adam Parrish (unknowable), and Noah (casperdisaster) are his two remaining friends in Hadriel, though he's fighting with Adam and Noah is a ghost right now, so that's not working out so great. Bruce (zen_en_vert) is becoming someone he kind of trusts, and he's secretly supplying the clinic with first aid supplies. He wants to pretty much kill the Alcohol Demon (notjustinthemirror), and he's been exchanging punches and witty rejoinders with Nick (bekommen) and just plain punches with Gren (murderpotato).
Current Plans: Gansey just left and Ronan is a wreck. Bruce is kind of preventing him from going into a full on binge-spiral but he's really not that far off. Expect to see him angry and drunk pretty much everywhere and if you want to trade punches, now is especially the time.

As far as the burial, he will be aboveground and will be frantically trying to dig Adam up. He'll be digging up as many graves as he can, but since he's only looking for one specific person, don't expect him to be too receptive to thank-yous if he does happen dig you up. (I'd kind of like him to dig someone up and then just be like 'ugh' and walk away as soon as it's revealed that it's not who he's looking for because I'm a terrible person? So if anyone is game for that...)
CR you're looking for: Ronan is pretty prone to negative CR, so if you want any fights- verbal or otherwise- he's your guy. I'd kind of be interested to see him be more antagonistic with someone in ways that don't end in fistfights too, and he won't attack someone who isn't looking to fight back. As far as positive CR goes, Ronan does pretty well with people who are exceedingly patient and a little firm. He also isn't very easily offended and has a better shot of getting good CR with characters who are similar in that regard. I'm open to anything!

About Them: Sunny is a man of very few words and maybe two facial expressions. He's used to being in charge but he's equally used to taking orders, having been raised as a soldier from childhood. Tends to be straightforward. A terrible liar, but a great poker face. He's never seen a gun (though he knows what they are) so he's going to be super wary of anyone who carries one. Though hardly unintelligent, he's pretty uneducated. School was never a thing. Probably a good guy to have around if there's fighting to be done. Currently on the lookout for a kid named M.K. His only notable features are his back tattoos and the swords he never leaves at home. Sunny is also very, very loyal once you get him on your side.

Notable CR: No one yet! He just got here but he's already picked up a bunch of kids.

Current Plans: BEING CONFUSED. Figuring out his phone. Will be above ground for the event. He'll probably help dig.

CR you're looking for: He's pretty closed off, so persistent outgoing characters are welcome. If someone manages to convince him to train them, that would be interesting too. And he will definitely bond well with military types or anyone from dystopian canons. Oh, and if anyone wants to teach him how to read, he might appreciate that, too! He'll basically find it weird that so many people are literate. When did you all have time to study in between the killing and slave labor?! On the opposite spectrum, if anyone wants to pick a fight with him, just let me know.

About Them: Scruffy, sarcastic 19 year old gypsy who also incidentally happens to be a werewolf. Peter is naturally wary of adults, especially ones who seem to be in a position of authority (cops, teachers, military, etc). He tends to be a bit of an outsider, preferring to watch rather than get himself involved, but under the gruff exterior is a very squishy center. Once Peter cares, he tends to care too much, and gets himself into all sorts of situations.
Notable CR: He just got here, so not really many people yet! He's met a couple, and ended up living with Newt. Will probably end up drinking acquaintances with Ronan Lynch.
Current Plans: Right now Peter's just trying to get his bearings. He's going to be petitioning (read: walking into his temple and hollering about bargaining with) Fear for a steady supply of cigarettes, and in the event he'll be a digger, not buried. While he has life experience in digging up graves, someone he gives half a damn about may have to peer pressure him into it unless someone he gives half a damn about is buried.
CR you're looking for: Other supernaturals! People who can convince him to give a shit! Folks with booze or who will drink with him (and provide the alcohol). Moms of either gender! People willing to put up with his weird magical bullshit. Folks who need some sage advice from a teenaged hobo.

She's the type of person who doesn't quite realize that she needs friends, but knows that having allies is important, even if she isn't so inclined to reach out. She's stubborn, and bold, and more than just a little daring. To have her as a friend is to have someone who will never leave you to the nurses.
Notable CR: Her most notable CR is Cecily, closerift.
Current Plans: Sharon will be buried during the event, which will not be a particularly easy experience for her as she's dealt with similar imprisonment within her own body. She's as likely to lash out as she is to seek comfort in someone, so it'll be a gamble when it comes to CR type you can garner during the event!
CR you're looking for: I'm really looking for some positive relationships. She falls very easily into things like isolation, so someone to actively look after her would be fantastic!

About Them: Noah is unsurprisingly a teenager with PTSD, though all things considered he copes fairly well with it at the moment. This is because being dead makes him emotionally static, when he gets too upset he vanishes and comes back when he's back to normal. Oh, right, he's dead. He got eviscerated by a yeti a few weeks back and has requested to remain a ghost for a little while since emotions are difficult! He's got the sort of awkward, shy, harmless bully-magnet thing going but really easy to make friends with if you avoid giving into the urge to bully. He always tends to look vague/smudged/faded and he's difficult to remember exacts about once you are no longer speaking to him while he's dead and all. Also sometimes he makes cold spots and throws things and slams doors like a poltergeist. Sorry about that.
Notable CR: Adam and Ronan are his two closest friends from home and he adores them both more than anything in life. Except they're also fighting right now, and he's dead, so that makes things a little awkward? Beyond that, the closest friend he's probably made here is The Alcohol Demon of all fucking people, which should show you about Noah's taste in people. On the other hand he's friends with Clear, who is the closest thing to a cinnamon roll here. He also helps out at Bruce Banner's clinic and trusts the Doctor pretty implicitly, and has recently started to take a liking to Arya.
Current Plans: Noah is currently being dead. You know, ghosting about, haunting people. He mostly looks indistinguishable from a normal person except for the vagueness unless he's low on energy, then he starts looking more dead and/or freaky. Because I'm not even sure he CAN be trapped someplace like this, he will not be buried for the event and will be helping dig. Additionally he will be back to being a living teenager about early-mid February.
CR you're looking for: I'm up for any CR, be it positive or negative, though Noah does tend to just roll over if bullied.

About Them: boss isn't the kind of guy to make small talk, but he might initiate a conversation if he thinks it'll get you to spill something. since he's been living here, he's kind of lightened up as far as paranoia goes, since he realizes they're all stuck in this together.

he's pretty patient with people, unless you somehow manage to get on his very last nerve, and a good ally to have. if you're a soldier or have a background in the military, he'll be more sympathetic to you. he's not above helping regular people tho, as he's offered to teach people hand-to-hand if they want to learn.

Notable CR: boss has talked to a lot of people in hadriel, but he hasn't really made any huge cr. (mostly because december and january are hectic for us military folks and ive been distracted more often than not!) his only concrete cr is with kazuhira miller, who was an old friend of his but now hates his guts! yay

Current Plans: boss currently has no plans, other than to get buried in the next event. now that holiday stand-down is over and i'm back to my regular shift hours, i'd like to FINALLY lead a (futile) charge into the caves. remember when boss made that post asking if people wanted to explore them? YEAH THAT.

CR you're looking for: IM OPEN TO ALL CR!! boss has offered to give lessons in fighting and he's actually looking into how to properly use a bow (since it doesn't look like they're getting guns anytime soon). he's also open to INFORMATION SHARING!! want to plot against the gods/play them against each other? he's got ideas, he wants to hear yours.

About Them: Z puts on a tough girl front, to be expected after all those years living on the street and playing Robin Hood with her best friend, but she's a giant cupcake who wants to help the weak and see everyone well fed and safe. She doesn't like bullies or people who are needlessly mean (ahem, FEAR). She was on autopilot during my hiatus, whic covered the Rage event, but at the time, she was probably yelling "FIGHT ME!" a lot. No notable features unless she replicates, at which point her eyes flash yellow and an exact copy (or several) of Z appears.
Notable CR: She's taking swordfighting lessons from Rainier and has been known to talk with Adam (and help him flee from yetis 8D), and she has talked with a fair number of characters (including that great moment when Ronan was underwhelmed by her morphing, lol), but she doesn't have a lot of really developed CR (mostly because of the holidays).
Current Plans: Z will be digging people out during the Fear event (and replicating for optimal digging out capacity!). Need someone to find you? Z is your girl. She will also be training with a sword, exploring, and stocking up on supplies.
CR you're looking for: I'd love to develop some of her existing CR! Kamina gets it, so it could be fun to see them get into trouble or go exploring together. I'd love to do more with her and Adam, too, I like their dynamic so far. Z also currently lives alone, so if you want a roommate, you can move in with her. (She's not super neat, but she's not a slob. And she cooks! Mostly stews, but she cooks!) Positive and negative CR are both good with me. Come thread with Z, it'll be fun~~

About Them: Nick is, in short, an antagonistic asshole. She has a bad attitude and doesn't give a fuck who knows it, has had kind of a rough life that has gotten rougher since getting pulled here, and has a list of Issues as long as ... a really long thing. Probably the most relevant of those is the "am I human or am I monster" identity crisis she's been in since recently discovering she's a Nightbane and sort of isn't exactly human like she always thought she was. Nick can transform into a giant spooky porcelain doll and scream loud enough to stun in that form, which has proven somewhat useful in assisting in killing other monsters around and for cheap tricks against Ronan.

Notable CR: She has what's closest to positive CR with Chris, Bob, Lloyd, and Kamina, and has gone a round or two with Ronan and the Alcohol Demon.

Current Plans: She's getting buried and she's gonna be super freaked about it, haha. :c If anyone is willing to dig her out, that would be cool.

CR you're looking for: ANY AND ALL OF IT. It's probably gonna be mostly negative at least to start, but she does warm up to people eventually, especially if there's a commonality, like being terrorized by monsters in Canada, or being a bartender.

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Newt
Canon: The Maze Runner

About Them: He's kind of the friend who will be smiling and being like "Hey buddy, how you doing? You got everything you need? You okay there?" while having a spear shoved through his stomach so I'd say that's a pretty telling metaphor of what Newt's like. He's sincerely kind and always has people's best interest at heart, especially people he cares about. Due to his questionable history of barely having any memory and not a whole lot of options, he's actually very quick to make friends because what else has he got? He's not blindly trusting by any means but he's quick in deciding whether or not he likes someone and whether or not he trusts them. He has a pretty strict moral code he follows and he'll call someone out if they're doing something he thinks is wrong. I would peg him as a general humanitarian. He's not about to watch someone suffer if he can intervene but he'll also leave them for dead if it means saving the people he cares about (not that he won't feel guilty but he knows how to prioritize). He's overall friendly and often sarcastic and will probably lightly jest with just about anyone he makes friends with. Also he is smart and yes he is actually named after Isaac Newton and it's totally listed that way in the phone.
Notable CR: He adopted Peter and is currently mother henning him in a house. Otherwise he's p new and hasn't established any solid CR outside of that quite yet but I def see some potential stuff happening in current threads.
Current Plans: He's doing the digging and he will be doing that actively. His friends might be buried!! He doesn't know and he's not willing to risk it. Also in general burying people alive really isn't cool :/ So you know, that's that. Otherwise he'll be adapting to life here and figuring out an overarching plan of What He Wants to Do.
CR you're looking for: Honestly he's really used to being mother to like sixty teenage boys so he's feeling pretty desolate right about now. He's good at taking care of people and multiple people at that. He also misses his friends. He'll probably try adopting just about any other teenager he runs into, especially boys because honestly that his experience more than anything else but girls are definitely on the plate too. So mostly friends! Doesn't have to be teenagers but he is a little wary of adults. Some adults he could trust would actually be pretty cool tbh. Enemies are cool too but he's sort of likable and generally passive so you'd have to be a certain brand of douche to make him dislike you. He deals with a lot of idiot teenage boys so his tolerance level is hella high.

About Them: He's a synthetic man with some issues regarding his own humanity and lack thereof. For anyone who doesn't know what he looks like, he's got a chunk of his skin missing on his face and neck, as well as an entire hand without nothing but a bare metal frame, so he's not fooling anyone into thinking he's a regular person anytime soon. Good news is that he's not even trying to do that - he's an honest sort.

He's also a detective, and looks the part by always wearing a trenchcoat and classic fedora.
Notable CR: No one yet! He's only just arrived and ran into Newt. Good times.
Current Plans: He's probably roaming the streets to get a feel for the city and looking for somewhere to hole up. He'll be buried during the event, and I've got plans for him to run into a few others during that time.

Kaz would be pretty suspicious of Nick at first simply because of his appearance. In his experience, robot-like things have never been good, although he's also never seen anything quite like Nick before. The point is, we must do a thing. +_+

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Kazuhira Miller
Canon: Metal Gear Solid

About Them: Kaz (or Miller, the names are kind of interchangeable) is the sub-commander of a private army, so he's used to having a lot to do, things to organize, people to coordinate, and so at the moment he's feeling weirdly listless. Like he doesn't have much of a purpose. This is also because he's been on this mission to get revenge!!! which can't really continue at Hadriel, so he's trying to figure out where he figures in here. In terms of personality, he's got some sharp edges because of everything that he's been through and he doesn't trust easily, but he also doesn't have any reason to dislike the other captives, so it's possible he'll be able to form some friendships with enough time. He definitely has this aspect of trying to act like he doesn't give a shit even though he actually cares a lot, so. :'( OH, and he's missing his right arm and his left leg. He has no prosthetic on his arm, and for his leg it's just a peg leg type thing with no articulation, so he walks with a cane.
Notable CR: Honestly? Not that many people yet! He hasn't made any actual friends which is partly my fault. His most notable CR is Big Boss, but he's been avoiding him more often than not because they had a pretty huge falling out for a whole lot of convoluted reasons.
Current Plans: I'd like to take the buried alive event as a way to get Kaz more involved in things! His huge strength is organizing people and acting as support, so I'm thinking he'll make a network post trying to make sure that everyone gets dug up and no one is left to die somewhere because that would be pretty awful. In general, I think he'll try to continue with that trend and turn the captives into more of a cohesive force so that they can stand up to the gods, at least to some degree. So if your character is the type who would be open to the idea of there being more structure within Hadriel, hit me up!
CR you're looking for: I would like for him to get closer to people in general! It's something that might take a while because he's so prickly, but nonetheless, it could happen. Again, people who would be responsive to his organizational efforts would be good, and I'd also like to have someone convince him that he needs to get some good prosthetics because the way he's doing stuff now just isn't practical. About Them: The most determined little cinnamon roll you'll ever meet basically. Lloyd was given the title "gentle idealist" during his adventures in Symphonia, and while those two swords at his hip aren't just for show it's a pretty apt name for him nonetheless. Lloyd loves easy and loves big, and he's eager to understand and forgive people for their "sins". He can have a bit of a temper if he thinks his friends are picking on him too much (he knows he's not the best in school but he doesn't need people always bringing it up thanks) or if he thinks people he cares about are being mistreated but his flare ups never last long. He's all about doing something, helping, fixing, and can get bored pretty easily if things stay too monotonous for long. He also has two dads, a dog that isn't a dog, and wings on occasion if he likes, though he's yet to pull those out in Hadriel. Oh yeah and he has smithing, lock picking and bomb diffusing talents, don't ask me where the last came from because I don't know.

Notable CR: I had to go on hiatus a month into the game unfortunately so I'm only just starting to get Lloyd more deeply involved with the people in Hadriel. He lives with Zelos, a friend from back home though things are sort of tense between them right now. He has Adam convinced he needs momming and has... something developing with Nick, idk. And he might start team protaging it up with Kamina because of course he is.

Current Plans: Lloyd is getting buried and while he's not going to get too panicked over the whole thing he will probably need rescuing since Zelos is kind of on an unofficial hiatus right now. He's going to go on a rigorous monster hunting expedition when Hope puts out that request later this month and I'm only sort of joking when I keep saying he's going to petition for a tea cup ride in the cave because tea cup rides are clearly how you make friends.

CR you're looking for: Literally anything. One of my favorite things with goody two shoes character like Lloyd is to get them involved with exactly the wrong sort of people, but more protag bros, people wanting to protect him, people he wants to protect.... whatever I'm up for it all. About Them: Hadriel's resident exiled princess and stabbing aficionado! Arya is a 12 year old who has seen some shit including, but not limited to: the execution of her father, torturing of entire villages at the hands of some really terrible knights, a man get resurrected a couple of times with sketchy fire magic, and lots and lots of murder. Before showing up in the murdercave, Arya was training with the local brainwashing cult where she learned how to get really good at killing people and was also forced to abandon everything that made her who she was. She's now slightly more safe in Hadriel, where she's dealing with a whole lot of identity issues, emotional trauma, and still keeping sharp re: sticking swords in people.

As part of said identity crisis, Arya goes by Nymeria to pretty much everyone in the city. She's not supposed to be Arya Stark anymore, and while she's working through that, she's not quite at the place where she can go by her real name. I apologize for any confusion this might cause.

Notable CR: Arya lives in a house with Cashmere, who's pretty much the coolest person Arya has ever met, ever. For a better role model, she's got Dr. Bruce Banner, who gave her a basic education on science and a more subtle education on keeping it together. She and Adam have climbed Trust Mountain and achieved something that normal people call friendship, and she's recently taken a liking to Noah Czerny. She's met some kinda cool but kinda sad adults recently that she doesn't completely trust or mistrust, and she's ready at any time to stick a sword in Ronan or the Alcohol Demon.

Current Plans: Right now Arya's been dealing with about half of her house mysteriously disappearing, and the shiny new toys rage has brought. Up until the event, you can find her practicing swordplay, archery, etc. She'll be buried alive for the event as well, and I'd love for her to make new friends and worry her old ones! She'll think that this is some kind of test/punishment similar to what she used to have to go through in the cult, so she won't be a particularly happy camper.

CR you're looking for: I love both positive and negative CR! On the positive side, I'd love someone to gently remind her that she knows how to have fun. Someone with more experience processing grief and other associated emotions would be a huge help too, lots of her revenge problems stem from that. Sparring partners would also be great, this girl needs to start using her sword in more healthy ways. If your character gets really irritated by kids, or wants to be fought in a more antagonistic sort of way, Arya's great for that too.
