About Them: he's what happens when you cross Sam Spade with Johnny Five. Being a detective, he errs on the good side of morality, but occasionally gets his hands dirty to get a job done. He's currently co-head of the Guard in Hadriel, and spends a lot of his time doing paperwork and surveillance on the network. He looks like this! He's also missing all the synthetic skin on one hand, so it's no surprise people can tell he's a machine.
Notable CR: He lives with pretty-much-his-daughter Rey mostly at the Speakeasy these days, and they have a three-legged, one-eyed cat named Tripod. He's often with the Guard, and is aware of all the members, even if he hasn't gotten the chance to really get to know them. He's on the Save Name team, which surprises literally no one because look at him Keeps in close contact with his fellow mechanical buddy Oscar. Aside from that, he knows who most folks are around town, even if only in passing or on the network.
Current Plans: He doesn't patrol as much these days (boats and a metal man do not mix well), so he's working on being more active on the network while mapping out the islands. He's going to be keeping in contact with Law about the goings-on in Hadriel while they're on their expedition, so he's in prep mode for that while trying to put out some personal fires.
CR you're looking for: I'm game for anything with him! He's pretty knowledgeable about what's happening in Hadriel and has his hands in a lot of pots. I really need to bolster some CR with the members of the Guard and the Clinic, so I'll be hitting up some posts here for that. :>

About Them: he's a magical nerd cleric from a dumb fantasy world who is primarily a healer. Also works in casting through glyphs via a form of magic called glyphcrafting. Extremely religious and guilt-ridden. Noted for having glasses, an arm with an ink-stained bandage, a pedantic attitude, and a very punchable face. He's also very afraid of birds, bears, and the undead, probably in that order.
Notable CR: He lives with and sort of alien married to Glacius. Has a complicated friendship with Kate and makes enchanted tea for Rey. Whines occasionally to Michael and Lance. Is real uncertain about Ravine, but keeps in contact with her all the same. Has been rude to a lot of people. He's got a lot going on.
Current Plans: He currently spends a lot of time in his private garden, maintaining the memorial garden, and just generally walking the lengths of the northern island. He might be getting a student in Atem soonish, so that's something he'll be focusing on. I'm slowly working Carlisle toward a major point in his character arc as his condition comes to a head, so now would be a good time to get CR with him if you're after it!

About Them: Info and permissions here!

A sweet center wrapped in a ball of dark chocolatey angst wrapped in a ball of more marshmallowy sweetness and dusted with some macabre. He's the type of person who likes to ignore his own problems/cheer himself up by making others happy and getting involved with people, so he's always willing to give a helping hand. Or, you know, overindulgence. That works, too.

He's a black sheep prince whose entire family died in a coup while he was away, and while he definitely feels survivor's guilt, he spent a lot of time fighting from being made the king as the last survivor. Extenuating circumstances freed him from that particular fate, and he's kind of been working on having a better outlook. To mixed results. Just think of him as a cross between Anastasia Romanov and Edward VIII.

Notable CR: He's basically taken Yusuke under his wing, and adores him. Gets along with Curufin, Avisheh, Floki, and others! He's very open to talking to people and loves being social. Was killed by Caedra and is absolutely ornery about it. Banged a lot of people at his banging party (would be up for a sequel with all of them)

Current Plans: Ianchus has no opinion on the Name/Door thing, but might help out people he cares about. Between being killed by Caedra, falling into a dream where he believed his family and lover were still alive in Carrah, and then returning to Hadriel and realizing that that hadn't been real, he's been kind of depressed. I have a catch-all for this month where he's skulking around here.

Also involved with Curufin's pier project, and is offering himself up as crew on Law's ship. Please give him a job, let him solve your problems, he's bad at solving his own.

CR you're looking for: Honestly I've been looking for someone he can spill his guts to over his past and maybe his feelings on it, but it's very hard to get him to that point. Also would love to see him with more royalty/nobles, especially the cynical kind! He loves being kind of catty.
Also anyone he can cut loose and make bad decisions with.

Anything else would be great too, though! He adores people and is generally up for anything. (Negative CR is great too, of course, but a lot of things tend to roll off his back)

I'm going to hit up that post of Ianchus' soonish because I need this CR. Carlisle isn't royalty, but he's definitely upper-class in terms of his world, and can be super catty. And they can argue about why on earth you would make such bad decisions.

Also he sometimes swings around in a high tech sentai suit, has wacky spider powers, and can deadlift a truck. So, he's got that going for him too.

Notable CR: So far probably just George, since they had some nice chats and she was all "Yo come live at my place". He is brand spankin' new here and thus hasn't developed much by way of notable CR yet.

Current Plans: So far he's just going to focus on settling in and figuring out where he can be the most useful. Also a lot of nerding out in the lab.

About Them: Hinata is a very practical and forward-thinking young man. He doesn't handle the supernatural or bizarre especially well, but he's gotten used to it a lot due to the violet situation back home. He can be a little blunt and/or rude on the surface, but is pretty warm towards people once he gets to know them and does his best to look out for them.
In terms of appearance he's pretty average - aside from his ahoge, aka the hair standing straight up in the middle of his head - but it should probably be noted that he's... a super tall teenager, actually (179 cm, or 5'10.5" feet).
Notable CR: He's brand new, so this is still TBD! He knows Nagito Komaeda from home (are they friends??? enemies????? relationship status is probably best described as It's Complicated), and so far he's met Yusuke Kitagawa and The Girl and probably a few more once I tag out whoops.
Current Plans: Number one plan right now is to get him adjusted to the world and learning as much about Hadriel as he can! Hinata isn't the type to sit still when he can learn more about the strange situation he's in, so I'll probably have him digging around in places as much as I can over the next few weeks/months (including all the problems that might arise from that digging around). More immediate concerns are probably deciding on housing (though he might go near where Komaeda is to keep an eye on him; possibly the same spire if not the same unit) and trying to get him settled in and working somewhere. His skillset isn't that broad, aside from being good with gathering and mild-to-moderate physical labor, but I'm open to any suggestions! He'll pretty much be willing to go wherever hands are needed.
No plans for logs or network posts just yet, but feel free to hit Hinata up at his intro top-level!
CR you're looking for: Honestly anything and everything - positive CR, negative CR, friends and enemies and everything in between. Big pluses, however, would be the following: friends around his age or younger that he can fuss over; adults/mentor types/people who've been here for a while that can show him the ropes; and the biggest one, getting to interact with all of Komaeda's positive CR so that Hinata can go "???!!!" about how he's made friends here. (things are very much It's Complicated back home and i'msorry)

About Them: Nathan Drake is a fun-loving rowdy boy whose resume is rife with illegal doings. An ex-thief and treasure hunter, he spent the better part of his life in foreign countries, learning other languages and finding lost cities (and subsequently climbing all over them). A generally friendly guy, his disposition is only rivaled by his annoyingly chiseled features and tendency to wear criminally tight Henleys. He can often be spotted standing in inconvenient places while drawing, or scrambling over sheer cliff faces with remarkable dexterity.

Notable CR: Nate would consider his closest friends to be psychiatrist Lance Sweets, wizards Taako and Lup Taaco, and his amazing wife, Elena Fisher. Would tentatively say that he is friends with Daenerys Targaryen. He has a friend-crush on Nick Valentine and is mortally terrified of local demon, Caedra Nisariel.

Current Plans: Nate is currently exploring the islands, having now mapped them to his satisfaction and intending to do a little gd locating if their recent intel is accurate. This will mostly include boating and caving and other Physically Strenuous activities. I'd also really love for him to shake off some rust when it comes to hand-to-hand combat...

CR you're looking for: Positive CR, negative CR...I especially love the latter because when Nate dislikes someone he really digs into it, and I think it could be a lot of fun. He's easy to make friends with unless someone really rubs him the wrong way, though.

About Them: Maeve looks and feels like a perfectly normal human being, which is a product of her organic construction in a lab where people build interactive "hosts" to populate an Old West themed park. Because of that, she's already going to be a little bitter about this "host/parasite" relationship thing that the gods have going on. Maeve was built first as a homesteader, then as a madam of a brothel in a saloon. Terrifically perceptive, she suffers no fools and is highly adaptable to new circumstances.

Notable CR: NO ONE YET she just got here. Hit her up.

Current Plans: Maeve is getting acclimated and trying to better understand the limitations of this place. Her first objective will be to find people she can get to trust her - and trust in return - to manage a sort of interpersonal buffer when things inevitably get difficult here. I just posted her on the intro log today.

About Them: First thing that anyone will learn that is that he's an asshole. He's better than you, and he's okay with you knowing it. Get him in front of a game or computer though and you'll learn it's worth putting up with his attitude because he is good at what he does. He's a good inventor and computer nerd.

Easiest way to get Kaiba to decide you're worth his time is to be useful, or dragons. Be a dragon, have a dragon, just dragons.
Notable CR: Atem and Mokuba of course. Is also working with Rey, Law, and people at the lab.
Current Plans: Currently working on figuring out the Door so he can leave and take him brother and Atem with him. Most of the time spent at either the Lab or his apartment.

Current Plans: Goku doesn't make plans. He exists and reacts. His days consist of eating, and running around.

About Them: Oscar is an automaton who has changed a lot over the course of his canon because of his close friendship with a human and the experiences he has shared with her. As the 'sophisticated butler type', he holds himself to a high standard and maintains a polite formality with everyone. Get to know him, though, and he'll reveal a highly critical thought process, a dry sense of humor, a strong sense of morality, a tendency of becoming obsessive about his work, and the ability to be an encouraging, supportive friend and be a very pure gentlemanly thing. He is kind and self-sacrificing in his nature, sharp-witted and analytical in his thinking, and stubborn to the point that it can be frustrating. Was in Hadriel for three months (Aug-Oct 2016) before being apped again a year ago and taken from a later canon point with a different body.
Notable CR: Proud to have Nick Valentine as a friend, Rey's Unclebot I guess, and as of recently has befriended Margaery and Alphys! He has been in the Fire Brigade since its inception and works on community projects, sometimes seen in tow of the head of the firefighters, Curufin. Helps the Clinic out by gathering supplies for them mostly, but he's also capable of administering some first aid thanks to his lessons from Will Solace! And he's on team Save Name.
Current Plans: Oscar's body has recently received maintenance and servicing from Alphys (mostly on his legs), so naturally he's Back To Work now that he's as fixed as he can be without the availability of replacement parts. He's helping with the 'build all the piers' project and also thinks there should be a fire station on each island in future, so he's marked down a few potential locations for the Fire Brigade to consider once more boats and piers are organized. He believes what Name said about the Door, but he won't be joining the search for fragments because, look at him.
CR you're looking for: Always interested in developing existing CR (friends, co-workers, acquaintances), but at the same time, always interested in gaining new CR too! He needs more friends to fuss over. :|

About Them: Newt is super smart, super arrogant, and super obnoxious. He's also super enthusiastic, which usually makes him at least kind of fun to be around, but that's been tempered mildly now that he's stuck in Hadriel. He'll bounce back eventually, probably? Anyway, Newt's from a version of Earth that's being invaded by massive Godzilla-style aliens called Kaiju, and he's a biologist that studies them. THE biologist, really. He's lowkey highkey obsessed with them, so step right up if you want him to talk your ear off about how awesome and amazing the Kaiju are. There's no Kaiju in Hadriel so that's a bummer (SORT OF???) but there are a lot of crazy weird other species lurking around the islands, which is what he's currently interested in. That'll go well, surely. Newt's impulsive and is incredibly dense when it comes to other people's feelings and stuff, but he means well...? Mostly? IDK MAN Newt's a hot mess and is very Extra and has a habit of infuriating everyone around him, but this is mostly due to his unwillingness to rein himself in. Gotta be all Newt all the time, dude.

Notable CR: Newt splits his time between the lab, where he's hanging with Alphys and his various LAB INTERNS (George, Cashmere, and Michael, all deserving of a better title) who help him with monster/mechanical stuff, or taking care of his budding monster menagerie at home with Hayden and his roommate Semiyon. He's got a uhhhh weird booty call thing going on with Tucker, and some budding CR with a few other folks around town.

Current Plans: He's currently trying to build a bestiary (his progress got reset with the Hope orb thing and he's Mad about it) and generally study all the monsters around town. He has two salamanders and a... mimic... and some Mongolian death worms because he's a fucking idiot. I'm planning to do another network post about that project soon, but I'm not sure when. That said, if you want to get involved with that project or just want to hit him up in general, he's got an OTA toplevel at the July lab mingle.

CR you're looking for: MORE CLOSE CR he has some in the works but I'd like to get him some closer relationships. Other than that, I'm really down for anything? Positive and negative CR are both A++!!

About Them: Angus is an 11-year-old nerd who is also the World's Greatest (Boy) Detective! No, really, back home he used to solve murders and hunt down serial killers for a living, it's a whole thing. His interests include solving mysteries, studying magic, and being ridiculously independent for a kid his age (and consequently, not having much experience with actually being a kid). Angus is earnest, extremely polite, and a literal genius, but he's also gullible enough to fall for the got-your-nose trick, and is very easy to mess with once you make friends with him.

Notable CR: He's pretty close to the rest of his cast, and has tentatively become friends with Alphys and Laura. He'll be reaching out to find and thank the people who tried to help him when he made that emoji network post last month!
Current Plans: No big plans! July is turning out to be pretty busy for me, so Ango will be taking it easy this month.
CR you're looking for: Literally anything! Kid needs more friends! I'm also down for negative CR, because when Angus is annoyed with someone he gets hella passive aggressive, and that's always fun to write.

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Leo Flynn
Canon: Monsters of Verity book series

About Them: Leo is a Sunai monster, a type of monster in his world that looks human most of the time, but has an absolutely terrifying true form he occasionally shifts into when he loses control or deliberately does so. He eats the souls of sinners, which kills them, a process which he feels very little guilt about. Described by his roommates as a "walking aftershave commercial", he's very self-righteous, judgmental, and kind of a dick when you first meet him. Beneath the surface, he's kind of an awkward turtle that has never gotten out much, which comes from a life spent fighting rather than, y'know, actually having a life. If you can gain his loyalty, though, he can actually be a little sweet. A good thing to do if we haven't threaded before is to fill out his permissions post since he's got a ton of god-modey abilities because Sunai monsters are ridiculously overpowered critters.

A couple things to note about his looks, since icons only translate so much: he's deliberately very good-looking, a trait all Sunai possess since they're predators, and it makes it easier to get the guard down of prey. His eyes are a shade of blue darker than any human has ever possessed and there's a scar going through his left eyebrow, the only one he has. His left arm is covered in tiny black crosses that go up to just below his left elbow. They look like tattoos, but they're markings. He gains a new one every day he doesn't transform into his true form, so they'll continue to grow the longer he's in game.

Notable CR: He lives with his roommates Margo and Seth, his little found ohana that came in with him from his previous game, and possibly the only two sinners that he won't attempt to eat. He gets along with Caedra probably better than he should and she's the only one who knows what his true form really looks like. He's Michael's current target, though he doesn't know that. And really likes Curufin since he definitely gets him. Also getting messed with in his current thread by Taaco and Lup 'cause why not?

Current Plans: Just getting him out there right now and building up his relationships with people. Loving everything I've got so far and would like more! Something I would like to do down the line long-term is have him go into his true form and go on a rampage where he rips the souls out of some people before he gets put down, but I'd like to do that after building up some more CR.

About Them: Intelligent, practical, and cautious. While generally polite to people he doesn't know, Adam usually stays distant - it takes him awhile to warm up to someone, but he's very stubborn and ambitious and pretty clever. Adam is good at planning, logical thinking, hard work, and being surprisingly patient with assholes. He does have a bit of a hidden temper, as well as a tendency toward ruthlessness and brutal practicality. He can't really fight, but can provide basic first aid, strategic help, and some mechanical and magical knowledge. Win him over and he is a fiercely loyal friend, ready to blackmail your enemies, help you bury a body, lend you his history notes, and call you on your shit.
Notable CR: Living with his boyfriend/roommate/pain in his ass who he loves Ronan. He's got a few friends floating around the city, but hasn't been getting out much.
Current Plans: So because of a combination of work and family stuff, my RP drive (my drive in general, tbh) has been low. Neither of my characters have been around much and I haven't tagged out nearly as much as usual. I'd like to fix that! About Them: Henry is a hubristic and testy 14th century knight, with a good heart and strong morals despite his flaws. Relentless in all his pursuits, he's hardworking and dedicated on one hand and aggressive and critical on the other. He has an impetuous streak and a short temper, but he also possesses a penchant for self-reflection and betterment.
Notable CR: Kate's his northern bro, and he knows everyone in the Guard to some degree by virtue of commanding it. Honestly, though, he's pretty isolated.
Current Plans: Presently he's watching and waiting to see what comes of Name's network post. He's also having a crisis of trust on top of the usual homesickness. The rut is definitely not improving 8'D

About Them: Tiny fifteen-year-old from a post-apocalyptic desert where everything was terrible. Sort of born as a messiah figure/living bomb, except she lost all that when she actually saved the world. Which she doesn’t want to talk about. She’s watched pretty much everyone she’s come into contact with die, so the fact none of her pals have died yet in Hadriel is pretty cool.
Notable CR: The other killjoys aka her dads (Party, Ghoul, & Jet). She’s pals with George, Edgar, Charles and Whistler as well as thinking Lance is kinda cool.
Current Plans: Being upset Kobra Kid left, probably going to join Party in rioting.
CR you're looking for:
-Other teenagers. Seriously, Girl never got to hang out with people her own age in her canon, please bring me all the young people. Get her out to do normal teenage things! Talk about dating (and watch her be confused about monogamy), make her ‘hang out’,do graffiti together, overthrow oppressive regimes. All that fun stuff.
-Antagonistic CR! She’s pretty stubborn and has very specific ideas about how things should be done (she has a low opinion of the people around here’s ability to survive without creature comforts). I’d love for her to find people who disagree with her that she can argue with. Or get into actual fights with. Your character would win, she’s small and unarmed. Half her canon is her being at ideological odds with the people around her, so it’d be fun to recreate that here.
-Any adults willing to hang with a teen. Girl’s used to being round adults, she’s a little better dealing with older people than her own age. Does your character want to learn survival skills? She’s willing to teach. Want to debate ideals about war, population control, or the complexity of personal freedom vs. public good? She’s your girl. Want a teenager to marvel your character lived past 40? Girl’s ready and willing.
-Anything! Seriously throw whoever at her. I’m up for anything.

About Them: A deputy from Montana who was kidnapped by a religious cult and brainwashed by an ex-soldier who's obsessed with the Strong culling the Weak and made him do all kinds of horrific things. (Be sure to take a look at his permissions post for warnings about some of the things that might come up.) He's a neurotic mess, nervous and constantly on edge. Don't spook him or he'll either run away or swing a sledgehammer at you. Without Jacob around to tell him what to think he'll slowly revert back to being someone who's trying to help people for the greater good, though the conditioning has really messed him up.
Notable CR: So far he's had an encounter with Caedra who he's not fond of for criticizing his rad bedazzler techniques. And Nick who he is absolutely fascinated by because robots are super cool.
Current Plans: He just arrived this month so he's not doing much yet. He'll probably go hit up the guard since he's a cop, but he could also help out at the Lab or the Clinic.
CR you're looking for: All the things! But mostly he could use some stable influences so he doesn't have a stroke from all the stress he's under. Though I also enjoy negative CR, but he's kind of delicate so nothing too horribly violent.

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Sonya Blade

About Them: Sonya is a Special Forces army officer, and one of the few warriors deemed worthy by the gods to defend Earthrealm. She's survived the death-match martial tournament, being trapped in an enemy realm, and is one of the few Chosen warriors who survived after the end of the Outworld invasion. Thanks to these experiences, she's not the easiest or warmest people to get along with, but she doesn't go entirely out of her way to push people away either; more, she's;s pragmatic and prefers to keep a professional demeanor. Having very view friends outside the force, those she does keep in contact with are almost treated like family; any loss or pain they feel, she takes it on herself and does what she can to try and offer relief-or at the very least will ask who's ass she needs to kick.

Though never outright in canon, there are hints that Sonya's developed Survivors Guilt after the Outworld invasion, taking the form of vivid nightmares, insomnia, stress headaches and the constant guilt of wondering why she was one of the few lucky ones. Years in the military will mean she rarely speaks of her traumas, seeing it as pointless, and almost a weakness.

A member of the special forces, Sonya's seen her fair share of combat (and loss), and earned a number of physical scars in the process. Her right leg is covered in old burn scars from an ambush in a raid, while her left shoulder bears both an old stab wound (once more a lucky shot) as well as what look like laser burns from those who know what to look for. Most of Sonya's clothing is in the form of pants and shirts with sleeves, so unless she's dressing up or down for something, it's unlikely they'll be in plain view.

Notable CR: Fellow Guardsmen, Margery Tyrell, Jeyne Westerling, Eleven
Current Plans:
Right now, Sonya's in something of stasis, and just trying to keep a routine going. There's the guard, training in her own skills as well as ongoing lessons with Margery. By now she knows of the Null and, while she doesn't care about the gods, anyone willing to kill a child is automatically on her s/hit-list.

Something I'd like to happen is for her to learn to fight with a sword and shield, she did take some lessons from Ivar when he was in the game, but not since then.

Also hobbies, Sonya at some point needs to learn it's okay to enjoy things outside of combat.

CR you're looking for: Guardsmen, other military, people used to dealing with other-world forces..people she could relax around.
